    Work.

~Dia Wealene~

"It doesn't really work like that."

I shot bluntly, staring at the door opposite as thought twas the victim, whereas I was talking over the phone.

"Of course you know, Dia Wealene, but we would need to put some of these things into consideration if at all we want COLORFUL ENTREPRENEURS to keep soaring. If we think we have all covered already, don't be surprised when all our efforts go down the drain in the twitch of an eye."

I sighed and spun the office chair around to face the wall TV.

"Who is the president here, Greg?"

"You seem to be missing something, Dia. We are all presidents. We all represent the COLORFUL ENTREPRENEURS. You were only appointed because we think it best that you handle the delicate matters."

I scoffed, throwing one of my hands back to cup my long sleek hair which reached down my back to the rise of my backside.

"I'm about to hang the call."

Later that day. At a bar.~Dia Wealene~"Do you want me to replace you with someone else?"I said on top of my voice, taking a leave of the sight of the barman who kept on shooting me this wierd stare. I knew what he wanted."Forgive me, if I have wronged you."He pleaded. I scoffed and looked away, but regrettably back at the barman. Twas a noisy place. We could had chosen a less raspy bar but I kinda needed a typical distraction while discussing with him."This isn't about whether or not to forgive you, Rowe. What if I had been strangled to death before you arrived? What would had been your excuse, you would had snatched my properties, eh? Since I have no child."He tried to reach his hand through the counter at me. Of course he was seated close to me but he did have guts though. I pulled my hand back and glared at him."Sorry."He got the idea and puffed. He got carried away

But it seemed more like trying to convince myself other than the person I was discussing with."Maybe you should take your time."Steve urged. I nodded,"I'll try to. But who could be so close to me that would had sent such rogue as Rowe to me. I guess the person wants me dead."I heard Steve chuckle and wanted to take it out on him but held back as he came on,"I don't think his motive is to kill. If it's that, he would had done that pretty sooner than this. I think it's a game, a game of intelligence. I can't place it yet, but I'm still working on it."He paused and continued,"Is there something else you need to tell me about him? We don't have time anymore. If you think you have anything which would be helpful, why don't you tell me?"I sighed."I don't t

In lest than fifteen minutes, we've arrived at the enclosed beach for private purposes. A beach opened to only folks like me; not only rich but affluent and renowned. Most times, on a typical day, there are few or nobody present. And we barely have the splashing of the waves by the swimmers, because many go there to catch a view, discuss and feel the caresses of the gentle breeze."We sure aren't going to swim, are we?"Alfred quizzed as we walked through the opening into the vast space."Of course not, we'll just sit and talk. I wanted to let out some steam.""Oh. "He nodded and we headed to the spot. There were only two couples to the right and left. To the very end by the left was a small cafeteria for grilled chicken, cheese and wine."Rowe, go grab some snacks. Something cool enough."He left immediately and I turned to Alfred,"I'm sure you won't mind sitting on this sharp san

I remembered too well that I'd told Rowe to stay in the car and keep on a lookout; to watch if someone like Devin would return to exhibit some degrees of nuances. To clear my doubt, I stood up and walked to the door, I opened and looked down the hallway, there was no one in sight. I sighed and walked back into the office.I walked over to the couch as Steve added,"It should had been enough but it isn't. Of course we know who is responsible and for whom he's working. The row of huts were built on the ocean.I had my head resting on Albert's shoulder and Ray seated next to me. Caidine got to us and handed each of us a hollow, long cup of tasty spicy juice. Ray let her sit next to me."Now you've made them seem jobless. I don't believe that all babies do is kick. They sure have some other tasks they catch up to."I teased. He got the door and I stepped out. He pointed in the direction of the garage. Parked was a red Ferrari. "I never drove this in, and I don't remember telling the automobile company to bring a new car. Nor did Caidine tell me about any--"I hesitated for a while as a supposition suddenly hit me."Come."I walked towards the door as he caught up with me. He held my hand and we both walked into the parlor."Where are they?"I quizzed, walking into the empty first parlour. Then suddenly, came the blast of music over the speaker, b

At the edge of the cliff on the four sides were lit candles and in the middle were sprinkled pink flowers all over the place."Albert?"My heart would liquefy. He was leaning on the border of the Minerva bath. Twas like a large pool with steams, but I could tell from the feel of the water on my skin, that the water is well treated; mineral-rich. "But it's rather strange. A UK establishment in the heart of Japan. Maybe I should say it's impressive. One of these days, Cleavinks should have a branch too in one of these Asian countries. I'm sure their folks are pretty innovative." He turned to me at that, closing the space in between us; we were facing the front before the turn. "No folks are dumb. But really, have we come all the way to Japan to talk about business?!" He pulled me closer and stole my lips. His left hand at my nape, and the right sliding down my back till it h

Few Days Later.~Albert~"Where to?"She quizzed, taking a quick glance at the side of my face. I turned to her as quickly as I could, my eyes straying off the express road, my firm hands drifting the steering wheel through the road."Disclaimer: All you have to do for these seven days is to sit back and trust all of my words. Because if you ask me again to where I'm taking you, I would have no choice but to tell you, which would make it no surprise anymore. You know, I can't really keep a secret from you anymore."I paused. The rays of the sun stealing through the window of her seat beside me revealed the glee sweeping past her face. I guess I tried. Caidine had told me to give details whenever she asks a question. I had forgotten to ask her why, but I guess it's really working and helping."What else did Caidine teach you?"She sneered at me. My heart missed a beat. I wanted to show it as Caidin
