The Dragon Earth Tower!

“You may enter directly!” the guard said.

Julius looked puzzled. Unlike others who had to pass through two trial stones first, he was now directly invited to enter. After a moment of silence, Julius moved away from the guard towards the entrance.

“Wait! Although he has a special recommendation letter from someone, he still needs to undergo the examination of the rough body level and the purity of the soul he possesses.”

A loud shout was heard, causing Julius to reconsider stepping into the academy. A man dressed entirely in white, with white hair, emerged from inside. The face of the old man, around 60 years old, looked menacing and full of authority. Seeing the person approaching the entrance gate of the Tower of the Gods Academy, everyone immediately stood, facing the old man.

“Respect to the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods, may the headmaster live long!” the Tower of the Gods students shouted simultaneously.

“Rise, all of you, and continue your task of selecting potential in-laws for this Academy. And you, young man, you must try the rough body level and the purity of the soul using the measuring stones. Regardless of the result, you will still be accepted into this academy because you have the golden seal recommendation in your letter. Whatever your connection is with the late Legend Hero Tiberius Mateusz who lived hundreds of years ago,” said the man in white, who turned out to be the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy, to his students and Tiberius Julius.

Julius didn’t mind the words of the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy. He immediately went to the measuring stones for the rough body strength and the purity of the soul. Without any hesitation, the young man headed straight for the first stone, which measured the rough body of a cultivator.

“Place both palms on the stone,” said the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy.

Julius followed what the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy said. He placed both palms on the rough body measuring stone. He touched the stone for quite a while, but there was no reaction from the stone. Then he withdrew his palms from the stone.

“Hmmm... unfortunately, it seems you don’t have the talent possessed by the Hero I mentioned earlier. Aren’t you surnamed Tiberius?” asked the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy to Tiberius Julius.

Julius nodded in response to the question from the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy. The young man then approached the other measuring stone. This time, Julius would determine the extent of the pure soul he possessed. Julius immediately placed both hands on the green jade measuring stone.

Unlike the previous incident that left the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy somewhat disappointed, this time Julius made the old man widen his eyes. He seemed unbelieving, witnessing the change in the soul purity measuring stone of the cultivator. The changes shown by the measuring stone were at the peak and seemed to be continually increasing. Even though the stone had a limit of measurement at the ninth level, it appeared as if the stone was vibrating because it couldn’t measure the level possessed by Julius.

“What’s happening? This child is truly mysterious and extraordinary. Rarely does a cultivator have a soul at the ninth level. Even the legendary hero, who is likely his ancestor, is still at the eighth level,” muttered the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy, unable to hide his admiration. “Enough!” shouted the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy.

Julius immediately withdrew his hands from the soul purity measuring stone upon the order of the Vice Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy. Then, after obtaining permission from the Vice Chairman, he entered the Tower of the Gods Academy area. Julius was truly amazed by the scenery in the place. Inside the entrance gate, there was a hill that was quite high, and right above the hill’s peak was a golden-colored tower.

Indeed, from outside the entrance gate, people could not see what was inside. The entire area, except for the entrance gate, seemed to be made of thick mist that prevented the eyes from seeing what lay beyond. The dense mist was a protective seal enveloping the Tower of the Gods Academy. Thus, only those who entered through the gate could see what was inside the academy.

The golden tower itself served as a training tower for students whose self-defense spirits were already at the Semi-Fairy level. The tower was used by cultivators to practice penetrating the realm of the Semi-God. For now, only the Chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy had successfully penetrated that realm. So, the tower was now inhabited only by the chairman of the Tower of the Gods Academy.

“Hmmm... I wonder which deity established cultivation levels like this. It seems that in this place, there is only one person who has reached the Semi-God realm. Perhaps in my previous world, the Semi-God realm is not different from the realm of the Earth God,” Julius muttered as he continued walking towards the dormitory, as directed by the gatekeeper earlier.

After walking quite far, Julius finally reached his destination. It turned out that the dormitory, which would be his daily residence, was also in the form of a tower. There were several people there, both new and old students. On the nameplate located right at the entrance gate to the tower area, it was written “Dragon Earth Tower,” which was the name of the dormitory and the group that Julius would belong to.

The Dragon Earth Tower itself was surrounded by a fairly high wall. So, if someone wanted to enter, they had to pass through the gate, willingly or not. At the gate, several senior students were already waiting, observing Julius’s movements with sharp gazes.

“Hey, new kid, what are you waiting for? Hurry up and go inside! Soon, all students, both old and new, will be gathered in the main field in front of the Tower of the Gods. Don’t be late and embarrass the Dragon Earth group,” one senior student said firmly to Julius.

“Alright!” Julius hurriedly entered.

“Hey, you have no respect at all for your seniors. Just entering without showing respect,” another senior student scolded Julius for entering without paying respect to them.
