Mrs. Perry opened the door and walked inside. There was concern and fear written all over her face.

Mia got up when she entered.

“What did you say happened?” Mrs. Perry asked. “Did Miss Alessia really decline our invitation?”

Mia nodded once. “She did.”

Mrs. Perry was worried. “Does that mean she's angry with us? What if she eventually terminates our contract?”

Mia looked at her but didn't say anything. She also had no idea what was going on in Alessia's mind, but for no reason, she knew Alessia wouldn't terminate the contract. Unless Kevin wants it terminated. As much as she thought about it, she kept arriving at the conclusion that Kevin was the reason why Alessia hadn't terminated the contract, even though she was initially angry with them.

So, as long as Kevin doesn't want it terminated, it wouldn't be.

But because she wasn't really sure about this, she has refused to tell her grandmother. She wouldn't believe her anyway.

“There must be a reason why she declined our invitation.“
