Kevin couldn't believe it. Why would the Lille family want to kidnap Mia?

It just didn't make sense, and Kevin had questions but no answers.

He opened the door and safely placed her on the passenger's side. He made sure she was safely locked before he moved to the driver's side.

He got inside and hesitated briefly. He said he wasn't sleeping in the house that night, but it looked like that was what was going to happen.

There was no way he would leave Mia in the middle of the road, drunk like she is, not even when there was a failed attempt to kidnap her.

The whole issue still amused him. But then, there was now a way he would find out at that spot. He might need to ask Alessia for help.

“Kevin?” A soft voice called.

Kevin inclined his head towards Mia. She didn't open her eyes, and in fact, she didn't move from her position. It merely thought she was dreaming or just being drunk.
