Chapter 227: Giant Cobra

"Take another slash of mine!"

Seeing the Cobra's gaping mouth approaching, Benjamin didn't hesitate, wielding his blade with a fervor that aimed directly into the creature's maw.

A powerful impact ensued. The Giant Cobra was sent sprawling back several meters into the pond. Meanwhile, Benjamin was catapulted to the shore, landing a few meters away from his initial position.

But before he could fully gather himself, a white shadow suddenly bolted from a nearby cave. It made a beeline for the White Lotus, intent on snatching it from right under Benjamin and the Cobra's noses.

This unforeseen development caught Benjamin off guard. He hadn't expected the Fiery Fox, who had previously fled, to make such a bold return attempt for the Lotus.

His heart aflame with indignation, Benjamin roared: "You vile creature! Halt!"

Yet the Fiery Fox was a mere blur, darting toward the water. With shrill chitters emanating from its throat, the waters rumbled and every single lotus flower was drawn out, ho
