Chapter Ninety One

"What time is the meeting starting?"Ares asked as he stepped down from the plane.

"In an hour" Emily responded looking at her wristwatch.

They came down to Seattle for work-related issues. It took a lot of convincing from Allison to have Ares come down here by himself.

He intended on sending Emily on his behalf but Allison had reasoned with him stating the importance of securing the deal.

Damn her! She's good at what she does.

"Alright," he says as they settle into the car park for them.

"Take us to the nearest eatery" Ares orders heaving out a sigh as he leans back resting his head for a moment.

The rude was a silent one not until Ares decided to ask.

"Do you enjoy working for me?" Directing the question to Emily that was busy on her phone.

"Uh.." She paused unsure of what to say.

"Don't lie to me, be very honest" he warns feeling her uneasiness resonating.

"Well you may be tough sir and want things done with absolute perfection but most times you're a little bit too hard on you
