“Who do you think you are, punk? How dare you ask Old Alec to give you an explanation? If you think you’re all that, you should fight me first!” Ray taunted.

Edward also shouted in a cold voice, “Garten, you need to reflect on what a shameless person you are! When my father made a name for himself, you were still a single cell.”

“Dad, there’s no need to fight with this asshole,” Edward added, comforting his father. “Go get some rest.”

But Alec was already furious, despite not showing it blatantly. He turned to look at Ray and then smiled suddenly.

“Punk, Mr. Luther said he wanted to challenge you. If you dare to take up his challenge, I will give Allegra an explanation. But you—you have no right to ask me for an explanation,” Alec said, coldness flickering in his eyes.

How dare that punk put him on the spot like that? He wanted to have Ray teach this bastard, who reminded him of his useless son-in-law back then, a lesson.
