“You’re just a reformed prisoner. Do you really think you’re all high and mighty? Get out, get the hell out!” Allegra was getting increasingly agitated because she was terrified that her daughter would lose access to education.

“Ally, please trust me. Just go outside with Bella for a moment and leave things here to me. If Bella gets expelled, I’ll do anything you ask of me!” Isaac said emphatically, looking at Allegra.

Allegra paused. Then, she quieted down and stared at Isaac coldly. She also knew that Isaac wouldn’t leave right now.

“Okay, you promised. If Bella can no longer get an education, you must disappear from our lives!”

“Okay, I promise.”

Allegra immediately took Isabella out of the room. She also wanted to ask Isabella who had actually started the fight first.
