Allegra was silent for a few seconds. Then, she shook her head and said, “Thank you, but I’ll keep on looking myself.”

As Allegra quickly boarded a bus and left, William frowned briefly before turning around and getting into his car.

There was a sexy woman wearing a strappy black dress in his passenger seat. She immediately leaned toward William and said in a nasally voice, “Mr. Merck, that ugly widow sure is pretentious to look down on a job that pays 30 thousand dollars a month.”

“Hmph, I expected this. Why else would she have turned down my late cousin back then? Mandy, I’ll set something up tomorrow. You must find an opportunity to go to Riverview and extend an invitation to Allegra. Just say that our classmates are having a reunion. Remember to insist that she brings that Garten punk along.” A cold light shone in William’s eyes.
