Jefferson frowned too. Something wasn't right—Rowen was acting strange.

"Mr. Hines, we can go through your concerns once we leave. For now, please be humble in Mr. Garten's presence!" Jefferson looked at Rowen coldly.

"Haha! Humble? Finley, Mr. Wilkin, you both are the pride of Seascape in your respective fields. But you cower before this guy named Isaac—why?" Rowen burst out laughing.

His face abruptly turned gloomy. He pointed at Isaac as he bellowed at Jefferson and Finley, "You don't remember, don't you? My niece had just married Milo Neal's son last month, and she died at the Neal family's residence last night. This brute did it. Today, I'll avenge my niece no matter the consequences!" Rowen was glowering.

Finley's and Jefferson's faces changed. Everything happened so suddenly that they forgot about the wedding last month.
