Seven years back, Riverview was already the third most expensive neighborhood in Cloud City. The security here was one of the best in Cloud City, thanks to the neighborhood’s developer—the Merck family.

The security guards smiled menacingly and pulled out their batons. One of them pointed at Isaac and said coldly, “You have five seconds to apologize to Madam Gould and Mr. Booth, brat. Otherwise, I’ll ensure you leave this place in a body bag.”

“You? I wouldn’t be so confident.” Isaac flipped them off.

Andrew laughed derisively. “Hey, asshole, this neighborhood belongs to the Merck family. Anyone who dares to cause a ruckus here will spend at least half a year in the hospital. If you get on your knees and apologize to me, I’ll consider forgiving you.”

At this, the security guards shared a look, then roared and rushed toward Isaac with their batons raised. Andrew looked excited. He wanted to see Isaac grovel at his feet and beg for mercy. After all, he’d never seen anyone who’d dared to go up against the Merck family’s security guards.

Suddenly, they heard two loud bangs and agonized wails. Andrew’s eyes widened as he saw two security guards getting kicked straight out of the villa.

Margaret’s heart jolted, and a trace of shock flashed in her eyes, but a ruthless smile soon curved her lips. Since this guy was so strong, there was no way he was that good-for-nothing son-in-law of hers. Moreover, now that he’d laid a hand on the Merck family’s security guards, there was no way this matter would end well for him.

She was distracted from her wicked thoughts when she suddenly noticed a figure pouncing on Andrew. “Stop right there, you bastard!”

Isaac was too quick for anyone to stop him. Before Andrew even realized what was happening, Isaac had already wrapped his fingers around his throat. Margaret and the others could only watch as he lifted Andrew off the ground.

Andrew started coughing violently, his face reddened by the lack of oxygen. His eyes bulged, and he looked pained.

“Tell me why you managed to buy the villa with just 100,000 dollars. How did Ally’s face get scarred? Tell me everything, or I’ll kill your precious son right now.” Isaac turned to look at Margaret calmly.

Eugene watched them in terror while Margaret gaped and trembled with rage. With every step she took, Isaac’s grip tightened around Andrew’s throat. As Andrew’s face started to turn purple, Margaret suddenly stopped and let out a scream. She could sense that this man claiming to be Isaac wasn’t bluffing—he would really kill Andrew.

“It’s because that little bastard needed money for surgery! Allegra came to me to borrow some money and willingly sold the villa to me. Let go of Andrew!” Despite her panic, Margaret’s words were still clear and logical. She glared at Allegra and shrieked, “Allegra, tell this bastard to let Andrew go! If anything happens to my son, I’ll kill your daughter!”

She still thought Allegra had brought Isaac here on purpose. She couldn’t do anything to her own daughter, but it didn’t change the fact that she thought Isabella’s existence was a mistake.

Allegra was terrified. She looked at Isaac pleadingly while shielding Isabella. She knew that if Margaret put her mind to it, she wouldn’t have any qualms about killing Isabella.

Isaac’s heart twisted at the look in her eyes, and he frowned. At this moment, Andrew suddenly started to struggle. He forced out weakly, “I’ll tell… tell you everything. Please, please let me go.”

Isaac loosened his grip slightly, and Andrew gasped. When he caught his breath, he shouted, “My mom arranged for Allegra to remarry Gregory Merck of the Merck family, but she refused to. Then, she grabbed a knife and did that to herself. She was the one who turned down the opportunity of a lifetime, and she fucking disfigured herself! Why are you coming after us for this?”

Isaac’s mind buzzed. He looked at Allegra in disbelief.

Isabella suddenly sniffled and clung to Allegra’s arm, saying tearfully, “Mom just didn’t want me to leave me behind. She didn’t like that guy! Grandma was the one who forced Mom into marrying that guy. Grandma’s a bad person!”

Margaret pointed at her and shrieked, “Shut up, you little bastard! If not for you, your mother would be living a life of luxury now!”

Allegra’s face streaked with tears. She pursed her lips tightly and lowered her head without saying a word, trembling violently. She recalled all the times she’d thought of taking her life when Margaret had tried to force her to remarry. Isabella was the only thing that had kept her going, and she’d ended up disfiguring herself.

Back then, the news of Cloud City’s number-one beauty disfiguring herself had turned the Booth family into the talk of the town. All the young bachelors who’d pursued her relentlessly immediately disappeared after hearing she’d ruined her face. Naturally, Gregory had given up as well.

Isaac understood now. Margaret had forced Allegra to remarry someone rich, but she’d refused and gone to such lengths to stop it from happening. He couldn’t imagine how much pain she’d been in.

He flung Andrew aside and walked toward Margaret.

“W-what do you think you’re doing? I’m warning you. This is the Merck family’s territory. If you dare lay a finger on me, I won’t let you off the…”

Isaac gave her a tight slap and said frostily, “On that rainy night seven years ago, Andrew said that he’d injured someone and knelt before me, wanting me to take the fall on his behalf. You also begged me, saying that Andrew was only a university student and that his future was still bright. You even told me that I’d spent a couple of years in prison and that you’d take care of my wife and child.”

Margaret looked at him in horror at his words, her hand cupped over her swollen cheek. His words dragged her back to that night seven years ago. Allegra, Eugene, and the others stared at them in shock.

Isaac slapped her again, and she staggered a few steps backward, blood trickling down the corner of her mouth.

“I agreed to hand myself over to the authorities, but no one told me that Andrew, the little shit, had murdered someone. I was sentenced to death the moment I was imprisoned. I thought you’d do your best to care for Ally and Bella considering they’re your flesh and blood. I would’ve never expected you to be so cruel!”

Isaac’s eyes were bloodshot by now. His domineering aura loomed over the living room, and the atmosphere was so tense that everyone present felt like they would suffocate. He slapped Margaret for a third time, making her collapse onto the ground.

Silence descended upon them. Isaac had revealed the truth of the matter with a few simple sentences.

Allegra couldn’t take it anymore—she burst into tears. Seven years ago, she’d been pregnant and hadn’t been allowed to see Isaac. After that, the only news she’d gotten about him was his sentence and a death certificate!

After all, he dared to refer to Mr. Crowe by name and demand that he come to see him.“I’m sorry, but we don’t have an appointment. And before you do that, you need to get a number at the front desk. His eyes widened, and he took a step back, mumbling to himself, “How is this possible?” This guy looked just like Isaac!“Bastard, how dare you come here again! Do you think you can come and go as you please?” Andrew roared. This pulled Edward out of his reverie. He kept his eyes trained on Isaac and said coldly, “I don’t know where you came from, brat, but you need to apologize to my sister and nephew right now. If you can compensate us appropriately, I’ll consider letting you off easy.” Edward was sure that Isaac had been executed seven years ago. Back then, a friend of his had been working for the authorities, and he’d personally given Edward a call to tell him that he’d witnessed Isaac being taken to the execution site. Mr. Sutton trembled with fury at Beefy Bob’s words. He’d spent so many years at the Merck family that everyone, aside from the three heads of the biggest families, treated him with respect. Yet today, he’d been called an old fogey and mocked by Beefy Bob. His blood boiled. He bared his teeth and growled. “Alright, then. I’ll give you a taste of my Thunderclap Fist.” There was a change in his aura after that. The veins on his hands bulged, and he dashed at Beefy Bob with his fists raised. When the bodyguards saw him in action, excited and expectant smiles formed on their faces. The Thunderclap Fist was Mr. Sutton’s signature move. It was fatal to anyone on the receiving end of it—this was the end of Beefy Bob! None of the bodyguards doubted this. When Beefy Bob sensed the energy pulsing in Mr. Sutton’s body, his expression became slightly more serious. As Mr. Sutton’s fists approached, he grinned and took up an attacking stance. The two fists met with a loud bang. Mr. Sutton’s menacin

The ruckus Gregory was causing next door was getting on his nerves, but he still wanted to know what Mr. Sutton thought.Mr. Sutton nodded. “Mr. Merck Sr., I don’t know much about Isaac Garten, but he’s probably just putting up an act. The soul artifact Drea had mentioned resided within those vapors. "This is the soul artifact you spoke of?" Isaac asked in astonishment. He stepped closer and attempted to touch the vapors. Despite appearing gaseous, it was, in reality, composed of souls; not the vengeful spirits found in the ten thousand resentful bones, but wisps of theorems. Indeed, these soul-related theorems continuously emerged around the artifact. "Did Dreamlerq's principle involve souls?" Isaac asked. "Yes, my true form cultivated the Principle of Souls. This artifact is something he created himself. Through it, you can reach a world beyond anything you could imagine," Drea responded. "A world beyond imagination?" Isaac narrowed his eyes. Those were the exact words Dreamlerq had spoken to him in his dream. Now, it seemed that the enormous artifact was the

I can even manipulate them with ease!"Isaac was astonished by his discovery. He had only barely grasped two principles, the principles of the void and the principles of the internal demons. Yet here, he felt an intimate connection with all principles, enabling him to understand and harness them more effectively. "I feel the same way. I cultivate the Principle of Transcendence, and it feels incredibly close as well," Mixandrei said in agreement. As the two conversed, Drea stepped out of the coffin yard, his body appearing outside.
