No one knew how much pain and suffering Allegra had been through the past seven years. Ever since the man she loved deeply had been sentenced to death, her life had taken a turn for the worse. Isaac’s words made her recall everything she’d gone through.

“Mom, are you okay? Mom!” Andrew ran over to Margaret and helped her up. Blood was trickling from her nose and mouth, and her hair was mussed up. Her face was also swollen. She wept while pointing at Isaac and Allegra, shrieking furiously, “How dare you hit me! I won’t let you off the hook!”

Isaac looked at her, his eyes red with fury. Then, he rushed at her, making her heart race as she trembled with fear. Suddenly, she felt cold all over. In just a few steps, Isaac stood before her, his hand tightening around her throat. It immediately cut off her air supply, and her eyes bulged in horror.

“Not only do I have the nerve to lay a hand on you, but I also have the guts to kill you.” Isaac looked at her, his face void of emotion. At this moment, Eugene ran over to him and fell to his knees, saying anxiously, “Isaac, I know it’s you; you’re back. She's your mother-in-law, after all. Please, let her go!”

Allegra was taken aback to see her father begging Isaac. When she saw Margaret starting to seize up, she ran to Isaac and grabbed his arm, crying, “Please, please, let go! You’re going to kill her! Do you want to end up back in prison after just getting out?”

Isaac shut his eyes and sighed. He loosened his grip, allowing Margaret to fall to the floor. He turned to Allegra and held her by the shoulders, saying tenderly, “Ally, come stay with me. I’ll restore your face to its original beauty!”

Allegra was taken aback by the resolution in his eyes. “N—nothing’s going to make it better. Anyway, there’s no need for that.” She broke free of his grasp and turned away.

Andrew staggered over to them with a hand on his abdomen, saying menacingly, “Don’t even dream about fixing this ugly bitch’s face! Allegra, even if you manage to get five million dollars, I’ll have Uncle Edward tell Mr. Crowe not to treat you!”

Uncle Edward? Was he referring to Edward Gould? And who was Mr. Crowe?

Isaac frowned and asked, “Who’s Mr. Crowe? Can he treat Ally’s face?”

Andrew was taken aback. He wanted to insult or mock Isaac, but when he met Isaac’s eyes, he swallowed his words. “Mr. Crowe of Beacon Clinic is the only person in Cloud City who can treat her, but there’s no way I’ll allow that to happen. Not even if she managed to get the five million dollars!”

Isaac laughed. Five million dollars was nothing. Even if they needed fifty million, it was nothing but chump change to him. Allegra didn’t want to leave with him after he’d beaten up her mother and brother, but Isabella had taken the initiative to hold his hand. She had no choice but to follow them.

At the entrance, Isaac turned to look at Andrew. “Seeing as you answered all my questions, I’ll give you three days to get the fuck out of here. I’ll be back to reclaim what’s mine.”

Andrew roared, “This villa’s under my name now, and my wedding ceremony’s in three days. If you dare crash my wedding, I’ll get someone to kill all three of you!”

Isaac didn’t expect him to be getting married in three days. He chuckled and said, “I suppose congratulations are in order, then. I’ll be sure to join in the festivities.”

Margaret had recovered slightly from the blows she’d suffered, and as she watched the three of them leave, she screamed, “Andy, quick! Call your uncle and tell him to come over here right now!”

“Margaret, I think that guy really is Isaac. It wouldn’t be good to get Edward mixed up in…”

“Shut the fuck up, you piece of shit! Isaac Garten’s long dead and that asshole must be some guy that Allegra picked up somewhere. I can’t believe that little bitch dared to treat me like this! How heartless can she be?” Margaret looked crazed.

Eugene frowned and fell silent. Seven years ago, Edward had played a big part in getting Isaac convicted after he’d been arrested on Andrew’s behalf.

When Andrew finished speaking with Edward, he hurried back to Margaret’s side and said, “Mom, Uncle Edward said Isaac was definitely shot. There’s no way he could still be alive.”

On the other hand, Isaac, Allegra, and Isabelle were already at the entrance to the neighborhood. He hailed a taxi, and the three of them got in. He said to the driver, “Take us to Lakeview International Hotel, please.”

The taxi driver was surprised by his words and turned around to glance at them. Lakeview International Hotel was one of Cloud City’s most luxurious hotels.

It was almost ten by the time they finished dinner. Allegra led Isabella into the smaller bedroom while Isaac smoked a cigarette on the sofa. Soon, Allegra came out in nothing but a light-colored bathrobe.

Her hair was still damp, and her fair skin was rosy because of the hot bath she’d taken. Her slender neck led to delicate collarbones, and the robe couldn’t hide her perfect figure. She was gorgeous, but the scar on her face made her feel insecure, and she didn’t dare to look Isaac in the eye.

She sat down on the other end of the sofa and looked at the TV before them while asking coldly, “Who are you? Or maybe I should say, what do you want to achieve by approaching Bella and I?”

When Isaac saw how wary she was, he blew out a smoke ring, feeling like a headache was coming. At this moment, he saw that the news anchor was reporting about unrest at a prison abroad, and inspiration struck him. He smiled at Allegra and said, “Alright, you got me. I’m a prison mate of Isaac’s, and we were as close as brothers. He told me everything.”

Allegra looked at him, her disbelief apparent. She thought about it and asked, “How… how can you prove that you and Isaac were close?”

Isaac stubbed out the cigarette and said lowly, “He told me that you like being on top…”

“What? On top of what?”

“Well, when you two were in bed…”

Allegra’s face turned beetroot red when she realized what he was talking about. She spat at him and fled.

The three of them had breakfast together the next morning. When they left the hotel, they saw a black Maybach parked at the entrance. The door opened, and a burly man got out, a lollipop dangling from his lips. “Isaac!”

He was taken aback when he saw Allegra and Isabella, but he soon broke into a wide smile and said, “Hi, Allegra.”

“W—who’s this?” Allegra instinctively averted her gaze when she saw the surprise in Beefy Bob’s eyes. Isaac glared at him and said to Allegra softly, “He’s a prison mate of mine. Come on, let’s get in. Bella’s going to be late.”

The car was worth more than five million and even had a vanity plate. There was no doubt how comfortable the interior would be.

When they arrived at Isabella’s school, Isaac finally knew why Ally struggled to make ends meet. The school looked reputable, and it definitely wouldn’t be cheap.

“Beefy Bob, take us to Beacon Clinic,” Isaac said from the back seat.

Allegra shook her head vigorously. “No, no. Bob, we’re not going anywhere. Isaac, there’s no need to treat my face, and it costs more than it’s worth.” She wasn’t used to saying this name, but she forced herself to say it so that he’d listen to her. She knew there was no use going there—they’d just get kicked out.

Her words seemed to have tickled Beefy Bob’s funny bone. He laughed and turned to look at her, saying, “Are you afraid that it’ll be too expensive? Money’s the only thing Isaac has left.”

Beacon Clinic was one of Cloud City’s—or maybe even the whole of Southland’s—most renowned naturopathic treatment centers. It had been founded by George Crowe, who used to be one of Chester City’s most renowned doctors. It was known for two things—the miraculous treatments that George provided and its exorbitant fees.

After disfiguring herself, Allegra had come to see Mr. Crowe once. He’d told her to cough up five million dollars, and she’d dispelled all thoughts of getting treatment from then on.

The building was ten stories tall, with a classic architectural design. The exposed brick walls, glass windows, heavy wooden doors, and statues outside made it look regal and noble. Two large security guards were also standing on either side of the door.

The three of them walked into the brightly-lit lobby. There was expensive-looking furniture everywhere, along with a cashier and medicine cabinet. Allegra sat down, feeling nervous. Her palms had started sweating the moment they’d stepped foot in here.

A young receptionist in a white doctor’s robe approached them and glanced at Isaac. When she saw how plainly dressed they were, she asked, “May I know which doctor you’ve made an appointment with?”

“Tell George Crowe to come and see me,” Isaac said while blowing out a smoke ring.

Allegra’s lips twitched at his words, and she bit them to hide her shock. The receptionist was taken aback, thinking that she’d heard him wrong. “D—do you want Mr. C—Crowe to come to see you? May I know if you have an appointment with him?” Her attitude suddenly became extremely respectful. She thought Isaac was some big shot. After all, he dared to refer to Mr. Crowe by name and demand that he come to see him.“I’m sorry, but we don’t have an appointment. Is Mr. Crowe around?” Allegra said when she saw Isaac didn’t intend to respond. The receptionist was surprised by the difference between them. Then, she rolled her eyes and smiled mockingly at them, saying, “If you want to see Mr. Crowe, you must make an appointment a week in advance. And before you do that, you need to get a number at the front desk. The fee’s 15,000 dollars and you need to pay first.”Beefy Bob frowned and looked at Isaac, who said calmly, “Just tell him that Isaac Garten wants to see him. Money's not an issue a

George burst into laughter. “Damn, you’re an audacious one. Beacon Clinic has been in operation for over a decade, and our clients are bigwigs in business and politics. I dare you to break even a single vase here. If you do, I’ll make sure you spend the rest of your life in prison.”Seeing that things were getting out of hand, Allegra turned to Isaac with a frown. “Stop talking already. Let’s just go.” Then, she said to George, “Mr. Crowe, I’m so sorry about this. I don’t want you to treat me anymore, so please don’t be mad.” She bowed to him.George scoffed and gave her a sideways look. “At least you have some common—”“Trash this place!” Isaac cut him off. George’s sneer became more pronounced. “I can’t believe the balls on you. Just wait. Let’s see whether you’ll still have the nerve to cause trouble at Beacon Clinic once you’ve been taught a lesson.”Isaac smiled. With his hands behind his back, he leisurely walked back over to the remaining sofa and sat down while giving Beefy Bob a look. The latter immediately knew what he wanted and pulled his phone out to make a call.Beacon Clinic had many employees—probably more than 20 doctors and nurses. None of them dared to utter a word at the sight of the trashed lobby. Especially the receptionist that had spoken to Isaac and Allegra upon their arrival. Her back was drenched with cold sweat, and she hunkered down in a corner, feeling terrified. Countless government officials and business bigwigs were George’s patients, yet Isaac didn’t seem to be bothered by it.The sirens stopped in front of Beacon Clinic, and four or five uniformed officials hurried in, looking stern. His eyes widened, and he took a step back, mumbling to himself, “How is this possible?” This guy looked just like Isaac!“Bastard, how dare you come here again! Do you think you can come and go as you please?” Andrew roared. This pulled Edward out of his reverie. He kept his eyes trained on Isaac and said coldly, “I don’t know where you came from, brat, but you need to apologize to my sister and nephew right now. If you can compensate us appropriately, I’ll consider letting you off easy.” Edward was sure that Isaac had been executed seven years ago. Back then, a friend of his had been working for the authorities, and he’d personally given Edward a call to tell him that he’d witnessed Isaac being taken to the execution site. George’s actions befuddled everyone. The renowned doctor and founder of Beacon Clinic, George Crowe, was down on his knees, begging Allegra to allow him to treat her. What the fuck was going on?Allegra stared at him. She wanted to help him up, but he refused to budge. Tears streaked down his face. She said, “Mr. Crowe, I—I don’t have that much money. You’re scaring me, so please, get up…”“I don’t want your money! No, not a single cent! Give me 24hours, and I guarantee you’ll be back to normal. I’ll even give you Beacon Clinic’s lifetime SVIP membership; you can come to Beacon Clinic for free treatment for the rest of your life! Is that okay, Miss Booth? Give me an answer, please! I’m dying here!” George was already in his seventies but trembling on the floor by Allegra’s feet.Margaret’s jaw dropped, and she couldn’t stop herself from gasping. Mr. Sutton trembled with fury at Beefy Bob’s words. He’d spent so many years at the Merck family that everyone, aside from the three heads of the biggest families, treated him with respect. Yet today, he’d been called an old fogey and mocked by Beefy Bob. His blood boiled. He bared his teeth and growled. “Alright, then. I’ll give you a taste of my Thunderclap Fist.” There was a change in his aura after that. The veins on his hands bulged, and he dashed at Beefy Bob with his fists raised. When the bodyguards saw him in action, excited and expectant smiles formed on their faces. The Thunderclap Fist was Mr. Sutton’s signature move. It was fatal to anyone on the receiving end of it—this was the end of Beefy Bob! None of the bodyguards doubted this. When Beefy Bob sensed the energy pulsing in Mr. Sutton’s body, his expression became slightly more serious. As Mr. Sutton’s fists approached, he grinned and took up an attacking stance. The two fists met with a loud bang. Mr. Sutton’s menacin

He could not conceal his joy when he heard Allen was back, and he immediately told Allen about Isaac breaking Gregory’s leg, exaggerating the process to make Isaac look bad.Though Allen was infuriated, he also couldn’t help wondering when such a powerful person had shown up in Cloud City.In the adjacent room, Gregory started wailing at the top of his lungs when he heard that his father was back, even going so far as to smash the things in his room.“Sutton, do you mean to say that fathead is an extremely powerful martial arts expert and that we should look into his background first?” Allen stood with his hands behind his back. The ruckus Gregory was causing next door was getting on his nerves, but he still wanted to know what Mr. Sutton thought.Mr. Sutton nodded. “Mr. Merck Sr., I don’t know much about Isaac Garten, but he’s probably just putting up an act. Out of the blue, he said, “Andy, why don’t you and Daisy move back to your own home tomorrow morning? Let Al have this villa. Now that she can live again, that's the best outcome." Drea looked at Isaac holding Skylar in his arms. His dry, wrinkled face showed a hint of joy, and he spoke."Haha, it's actually not your fault because, at that time, your body was controlled by an evil corpse spirit. You were essentially another being." Isaac, who was in high spirits, laughed heartily. In a sense, Drea could be considered a corpse spirit too, but he was aligned with him and obeyed his commands, essentially a "righteous" or "good" corpse spirit. It was no longer the purely malevolent corpse spirit it once was. While they both inhabited the same body, their souls were fundamentally different."I'm really curious about that mysterious realm Dreamlerq mentioned. The soul artifact Drea had mentioned resided within those vapors. "This is the soul artifact you spoke of?" Isaac asked in astonishment. He stepped closer and attempted to touch the vapors. Despite appearing gaseous, it was, in reality, composed of souls; not the vengeful spirits found in the ten thousand resentful bones, but wisps of theorems. Indeed, these soul-related theorems continuously emerged around the artifact. "Did Dreamlerq's principle involve souls?" Isaac asked. "Yes, my true form cultivated the Principle of Souls. This artifact is something he created himself. Through it, you can reach a world beyond anything you could imagine," Drea responded. "A world beyond imagination?" Isaac narrowed his eyes. Those were the exact words Dreamlerq had spoken to him in his dream. Now, it seemed that the enormous artifact was the

Yet here, he felt an intimate connection with all principles, enabling him to understand and harness them more effectively. "I feel the same way.
