CHAPTER 38

Joshua’s POV

I paced around in confusion, my fingers didn’t leave my mouth as I bit them uncontrollably like they were the only thing I had eaten all day.

On second thought I actually had not eaten, I took a deep breath and pressed my back against the wall with tears running down my eyes endlessly.

I could hear the faint sound of footsteps but I was too far gone to move my head to where the sound came from.

“Sir!.” A pair of arms wrapped around me and shook me vigorously.

My eyes fluttered, trying hard to see who had shaken me in such a manner and there before my very eyes was Miss Rena with tears almost rolling down her eyes.

“Are you okay?.” I threw away my sadness for the main time while I tried my best to find out what was wrong with her.

I drew her into my arms and gently caressed her back till I felt her breathing begin to normalize.

I sighed deeply only for my eyes to perch on a spot where a young lady.

“Dasha…” I whispered to myself.

I couldn’t just push Miss Rena to the side
