"This request is so polite… I should prepare his meal and get it to his office." She thought, circling her lips. She felt baffled at the moment, not knowing what to give as an answer.

Xavier stood patiently waiting for her response, he had known the hunger won't spare him once he leaves the conference meeting back to his company.

He doesn't feel like getting a meal from the eatery, he prefers to get a different taste for the day.

"What if Lilian finds out that the meal is for her fiance and then I'm taking it to his office once I'm done." She bit her upper lip. "But I can't keep the young man starving throughout the day, since his fiance doesn't care at all."

She heaved a big sigh. "Isn't it better to get a meal from the eatery or resort? At least to save you the time I'll waste."

Xavier shook his head expressing how difficult it is to accede to her idea.

"I want to taste a different meal today, not from the eatery again." He responded vividly.

She had no other choice than to give in
