ENTWINED DESTINY (BLANK WORLD) CHAPTER 8

BLANK WORLD

This is the land of no family, land of no return that seems not to be found on the face of the earth. The mystery of the land does not only supersedes the members but remained unknown to them. A sudden quietness paved around the land for a reason Jimmy was yet to find out from his residence. Sooner did he hear a crying voice from another house, then looked through the window to see clippers running towards the direction with their horses. Subsequently, he hurried out of the sanctum, surged into the building to find a female who had his resemblance, lying dead on the floor. She was the same girl who gave birth the previous day.

"Marina!" he shouted her name bitterly. Clippers pulled him back as he struggled at the entrance. Female workers wept while others sadly composed themselves at a corner, wallowing in grief. "Marina!" Jimmy kept struggling until they pushed him outside, handled by two huge clippers. Only his voice was heard within the vicinity. "What have you done again?! Where is her human baby?!" he shouted.

Just then, Jessica arrived on a horse like a leader in a war. Her shoes alone and her movement would tell you how strong she could be. She stopped at a distance, saying to the clippers that held Jimmy, "Let him come to me"

Jimmy approached her in tears. "You're evil!"

"Nobody killed Marina, Jimmy. Death is an inevitable thing." she replied calmly.

"What about her human baby? Where did you take him to last night?"

"Is that why you followed us and clipped the clipper?" Jessica took a few steps closer to him, sounding more dangerous with a lower voice. "Though Amaya may have followed us too but I know you're the one who killed the man. Thanks to Amaya otherwise you would have been dead by now. But you won't get lucky next time."

Jimmy remained quiet which enabled another silence. Their attentions went to the corpse, wrapped in a white fabric that was being carried out of the house by four clippers. All the clippers matched out with the corpse, while others watched in sadness. Jimmy spat before Jessica and said, "Sooner or later the evil you do won't only lie with you, it will hunt you down. Birds of the sky will feed on your body while you're still alive until you beg for death to take you." he spat again before leaving.

His statement pinned the old witch at a spot, shocked and saddened. She could imagine how Jacob felt when she threatened him with such words. She tried to take a step out, but missed it in a way she nearly fell down, rushed by two clippers.

"Jessica.." one of them called in a worrisome tone. "Is everything Okay?"

The woman said nothing, rather struggled to mount her horse which neigh happily before galloping away.

Jimmy stood by the river where his eyes couldn't leave. He could see bushes across the river and palm trees, remembering his encounter with Amaya the previous night....

FLASH BACK

"You know that Jessica must find out who clipped this clipper and you know the conseque..." movement of horses interrupted her. They looked back to see flaming sticks from afar. Those were Jessica and co, returning.

"We must run now!" Jimmy led the way to Amaya's horse, mounted it with Amaya behind, steer, and gallop away. The young girl engulfed him tightly, compressing her breast on his back until they got to Jimmy's residence where she took control of the horse after he stepped down.

"Are we gonna see again?" Jimmy looked up at her.

"Yes, to plan our escape to the real world." Amaya replied from the horse.

"What real world?"

"Believe me when I say there is another world called the real world. A worker made mention of it before he was clipped tonight." She glanced at the flowing river and continued. "Tomorrow, stand by the river and keep watch. I'll send you a message using a paper." She kicked the horse which sped away...

CONTINUITY

Now you can tell why Jimmy stood by the river, lost in thought. He couldn't believe there is a real world as Amaya substantiated. Just then, a young boy of his age came from behind saying, "You've cursed Jessica. I heard you."

Jimmy turned to see Mello, the owner of the voice. "She deserves it." He replied and turned to the river again. Mello stood beside him.

"What was the drama last night for? I mean between you and that girl at Kezra."

"Her name is Amaya. She believes we're in captivity here." He looked at Mello. "Do you believe there is another world called the real world?" he asked him.

Mello smiled in a mockery manner. "Is that what the small girl told you?"

"Be serious, Mello."

"Listen, Jimmy" he faced his friend seriously as he was told. "I know of workers who tried to escape from here thinking there is another place better than here. You know what happened? They failed and died." He pointed at his chest. "Don't buy whatever that small girl told you. There is nothing like the real world." he walked out, yet Jimmy never losed hope. He stared at the river.

At Azra, Jacob came out from the bathroom to see Jessica standing at the window like marine spirit. He tied a towel round his waist in a way the hair on his chest felt the texture of the room temperature. "Jessica?" he called her, standing at spot.

Jessica slowly turned without saying a word.

"You look worried." Jacob added.

The woman walked up to him like a wife to her husband and said, "I came to say sorry for threatening you last night."

Jacob smiled. "I never took your statement at heart. I saw it as a mare talk" he wanted to walk away but she pulled him black romantically. "Jessica, Pakyle is trying to locate..."

"Pakyle can only find this place over his dead body" she interrupted.

"You still have feelings for him, don't you?"

Jessica hesitated, slowly kissed Jacob and said, "Pakyle is in my past now"

Jacob smiled again, resuming the kiss by himself. Just a click, Jessica loosed his towel to feel his slowly erecting dick....

Amaya opened her eyes to see Sunday sitting beside her on the bed. She was pleased, it could be seen on her smiling face coz the poor girl was naturally falling for him. "Sunday?"

"Amaya!" Sunday returned the smile. "Thank goodness you're okay."

Amaya roamed her eyes around, trying to recall everything that happened the previous night. She ordered Sunday to get him a paper and a red rock which she used to write something on it, folded it into a canoe and gave it to Sunday saying, "Quickly, take it to the bridge and sail it on the river."

Immediately Sunday left, Cynthia entered. Amaya monitored her movement. She never replied any of her questions and statements until she wanted to leave the room.

"Cynthia," Amaya called her. "I heard the man who was clipped beside you last night. He said he wanted to see his parents in the real..." she paused, swallowing hard. "What does it mean to be a parent, Cynthia?" She asked.

Hearing that, Cynthia's breathing rate increased.
