Chapter 19: The Biggest Problem Of All

"Heavy, isn't it?" Pu Chong-Yol asked while showing a slight grin on his face.

"It is. I don't think this would really be functional... Unless..." Arthur started pondering on what he could use this iron for.

"Unless what?" Pu Chong-Yol asked wondering what Arthur was thinking about.

"Unless I create a exoskeleton armor using this material, then I should be able to move thanks to exoskeleton built into it and my attacks would be able to destroy pretty much anything thanks to weight that the heavy cold iron has." Arthur said as ideas started flooding in his mind.

"But can we fit that much mana into that suit to even function properly?" Pu Chong-Yol asked.

"We don't need to use mana, we have something better." Arthur said as his eyes widened and he turned to Pu Chong-Yol.

"Get the land that is filled with those heavy cold iron! If there is more land, buy it! The price is no problem!" Arthur said as he tore a teleportation scroll and teleported back to the Information Guild.

"Wukong! I get how I can be more powerful in the gate, even without mana!" Arthur said.

Wukong who was reading a book was interested in what Arthur had to say, "Go on."

"Pu Chong-Yol had just told me that he found a new ore, it is heavy, in fact, too heavy to be used. But it is as strong, hard and durable as Mythril, and personally, I think that it is way better than Mythril itself. However it comes with a big flaw, it is stupidly heavy, even trying my hardest I still couldn't even carry the dumbbell that was made of pure heavy cold iron." Arthur said.

"I don't think that is really a new ore. It's just a ore that everyone regards as useless because it's too heavy for anyone to use. Even I find it too much of a hassle to use." Sun Wukong admitted.

"That's what I thought at first. But if I make it as a exoskeleton suit, and make the energy powering it from nuclear energy, I would be able to generate power from even the smallest of my movement and cause catastrophic damage to anyone." Arthur said.

It took Wukong to process what Arthur said and his eyes started to lit up as well. "This is a pretty smart move. But I think this information should only be available to the most trusted member... If anything, we don't want risking this information to leak to the Behemoth Guild..." He said while realizing how important this information really was.

"Of course."Arthur said before using his mana X-ray vision to looked through the walls to see if anyone was behind it.

Arthur then called up the head engineer of the Engineering department using his mana phone.

The head engineer quickly ran towards the Arthur's office and met Sun Wukong and Arthur there. "Sir how can I help you?" He asked.

Arthur then explained his plans for making a nuclear powered exoskeleton suit that was made out of heavy cold iron.

The head engineer took out a piece of paper and wrote some notes on it. "Sir, would be we using any magic enchantments on it or be using any other enhancement using mana?" He asked.

"No it would be powered solely by nuclear energy." Arthur replied.

"Hmm, that would be possible with the technology that we have currently. But it would take a lot of research and development to make a prototype. I I am seeing at a minimum cost of 1 million Behemoth Dollars for the Research and Development itself." The engineer said.

Arthur's eyes twitch as he heard that amount. "1 million Behemoth Dollars???" He said while trying to figure out if the engineer had made a mistake with the price.

"Yes sir." The Head engineer said seriously.

"I don't think I understand. 1 million Behemoth Dollars is not equivalent to 1 million united states dollars it is worth 2 billion united states dollars. Now you are telling me that just in research and development, it would cost me that much???" Arthur said while keeping his jaw wide open.

"Well, considering that this is the first time anyone using that material for that purpose, yes. And since it is the first time anyone in the tower is using Nuclear energy in the tower, 1 million is actually the minimum estimate." The head engineer explained.

Arthur looked at Sun Wukong, "Do we have enough money left for that kind of budget?" Arthur asked.

"Yes. We have about 50 million Behemoth Dollars left. But even if we have no more personal funds, we can always use the funds that President Henry left you. It is about 1 billion gold coins right?" Sun Wukong asked.

"Wukong. He is someone that I greatly respect. He died for the cause and I can't use his money." Arthur explained and sighed.

Wukong rolled his eyes and looked at Arthur. "Look that much money is equivalent to 2 trillion Behemoth Dollars, are you telling me that President Henry really left you that much money just to use it for yourself. He left it to help you in getting revenge and to get revenge for him."

Arthur nodded, "But I will try not to use his money." He the looked at the head engineer. "How much will it cost to produce one of this suit?" Arthur asked.

"I don't know. The result of the research and development will decide that." The engineer said.

"Very well then. I will be transferring about 3 million Behemoth Dollars. Use it well. You must get the result fast." Arthur said.

"With one million Behemoth Dollars we can build a room that speeds up time in the room. Meaning that 1 year in that room, will only be 1 minute outside of it. We will be able to maiw the research faster if we get that room." The engineer suggested.

"Then do that. Don't worry about the cost, I will figure that out. You are dismissed." Arthur said before the engineer bowed and head out of the office.

When the both of them were alone in the room, Vazimperium appeared in the middle of the room. "Wow, so you guys are planning very exciting things huh."

"Yeah, I guess you can say that. But do you have any news for us?" Arthur asked.

Vazimperium nodded "I heard from my lackey. It seems that the gate has been giving you some trouble, and I have looked into this and let me assure you that no one, in the tower management team, nor any of the demigods are responsible for it." He assured Arthur.

But this didn't assure Arthur, it actually did the opposite. "If it's not them, then who is??" He asked.

Vazimperium shrugged, "To be honest, I don't know."

"Oh crap!" Arthur said before sitting down on his chair before pressing on his head to calm down. "If I knew who was screwing with me at least I could make a certain plan, but now I have nothing and going into the gate is pretty much putting blind faith that I might come out alive." He added.

"You should expect this much. After all, everyone has their eyes on you. No one in this tower is unaware of you, not one." Vazimperium said.

"If I could have turn back time, I would have done everything in secret not revealing my identity." Arthur said, regretting his decision.

"You can't turn back time. And I don't think you can learn from that mistake either. Do it's best that you just let that slide. You have bigger problems now, but you have bigger opportunities thanks to the problems." Sun Wukong said.

Arthur was tired of hearing this kind of motivational speech and walked out of the room to cool off. He then walked out of the building and saw that there were people who started holding posters in front of the gate of the building, he walked towards one of the Information Guild guards who upon looking at Arthur bowed saluted Arthur.

"Why are there protesting outside our building?" Arthur asked.

"That is the Anti-Information Guild protestors. They also called themselves the Behemoth purist." The guard explained.

"What?" Arthur said before walking closer to the gate to see what they were protesting about.

One of the protestors showed, "Destroy the Information Guild's monopoly of information!" And another one showed, "Bring back the Behemoth's Guild full control of the tower!"

Arthur couldn't believe what he was seeing, but neither could the protestors, they quickly ran away while throwing away their signs as they saw Arthur at the gate, they weren't ready to die yet.

Arthur jumped over the gate and looked at the signs on the floor, he saw signs that disagreed with how Arthur was managing the lower floors and how they preferred the Behemoth's Guild tyrannical rule.

"What the actual heck." He said while looking at all the other signs.

The guards came out of the gate of the building and immediately burnt the signs that was on the floor to avoid angering the Arthur. "Sir, we are sorry for responding late." The guard said.

"Sigh, it's fine." Arthur said before walking back into the building with a angry tone. 'Are those protestors retarded? Why would you prefer a tyranny than a more free place where you could chose??'

Arthur then walked back to his room before Sun Wukong entered the room as well, "I heard of what just happen. Those protestors are really brave and maybe ignorant of what they want." He said.

"I don't get it. Why would they prefer the tyranny that the Behemoth Guild is rather than a more better and more free option that the Information Guild is?" Arthur asked.

Sun Wukong looked at Arthur and smiled, "I don't think you really understand what those protestors really want. They don't want the tyranny that the Behemoth Guild is currently, but the Behemoth Guild of your father's era. And they can't accept that their hero who had ruled this tower with an iron fist by himself would start depending on people. For them, you are god, and nothing else matters." He explained.

Arthur couldn't answer anything, because he can't imagine respecting a person so much, that they would rather be slaves to the person. "They can think whatever they want, but I am not a tyrant. I don't care if my father was, but I am not." Arthur kept repeating to himself.

"Perhaps. But your father wasn't a tyrant. He was pretty much someone who defended himself, he never attacked anyone who never attacked him." Sun Wukong assured Arthur.

Before Arthur continued, he said, "Status." However much to his surprise nothing happen. "Status," He said again. But nothing happened, again. His biggest fears has just become true. He wasn't able to open his status, meaning that he couldn't upgrade his stats any further.

Arthur felt that his soul had just left him as reality hit him. He started sweating at the thought of being at this kind of situation. He then looked to Wukong, "Wukong! It's gone!" He shouted.

Sun Wukong by the sudden change in Arthur's tone. "What is gone?" He asked.

"My status! I can't access my status!" Arthur said worriedly as his energy in his body was slowly fading away.

"What do you mean? Just say status and it should be in front of you!" Sun Wukong said.

Arthur shook his head, "No Wukong, I don't think you understand. I said it. It's just not coming out!" He shouted.

Wukong realized that Arthur wasn't joking and quickly shouted. "Vazimperium!".

Vazimperium immediately appeared in front of them and wondered why he was called upon. "What's going on?" He asked.

"I can't access my status." Arthur said.

Vazimperium looked confused, "That's impossible. The status is the right that is given to every humanoids in this tower, and no humanoid will have his or her status taken away from him." He explained.

"I am telling you, no matter how many times I say status, it wouldn't appear." Arthur said.
