Chapter 23 Harmony Serum

Northern Nation 

Private Island of the Federation Alliance.

"This serum that we at the Blackfall facility created can harmonize the violent properties of the chaos energy. This serum will be called the Harmony Serum, "said Bishop Vincent calmly. 

"Where did the chaos energy come from, Bishop Vincent? " So says, President Francis. He posed that question even though he already had an idea of where the chaos energy came from. He just wanted confirmation.

"President Francis, other than me, you are the most knowledgeable on this matter." Pope Lucas Almano was the one who answered him.

"Is this harmony serum applicable to the plants and humans, Bishop Vincent?" Empress Shenna Chengdu stated while raising her eyebrows.

"Of course, Empress Shenna, it applies to us, humans." Bishop Vincent grins as he says that.

"Bang! "

"What do you mean by this?" General Zen Chenglo shouted angrily.

The other important figures also show a hint of displeasure on their face, but they did not act extremely like general zen.

Even though they know what kind of implications Bishop Vincent meant.

"Before I answer your question, I have two requests for the federation. I wonder if you can fulfill them for me?" So said Bishop Vincent with a calm face.

"Bishop Vincent, don't go too far!" General Zen Chenglo shouted, with his hand clenched into a fist.

He is about to add more harsh remarks, but he is stopped in mid-sentence by King Charles Romeo.

"We can't fulfill your request, Bishop Vincent, and we can't promise you anything. Besides, we are all having a hard time in our country, " King Charles said with his poker face.

King Charles Romeo was a man with great foresight in discerning people. He was sure that Bishop Vincent was a notorious person.

"Don't be quick to turn me down, without even hearing my request...I want to request permission for the Pope to gather all the reputable religious leaders around the world for a peace treaty to resolve this crisis!" Bishop Vincent said.

King Charles and the others are surprised to hear that Bishop Vincent is fulfilling the first request in favor of Pope Lucas. 

But they did not react much as the request was reasonable. On the other hand, the Pope seemed to expect it.

"My second and final request... I want all your national power to completely support me in building power in your countries!" So said Bishop Vincent, as the smile on his face widened.

When Charles and the others heard that, their faces stiffened and became pale. They were not able to control themselves from reacting as they shouted in unison.

"Impossible!" 

"We will not allow that to happen!"

"You're trying to make the whole world your enemies, Bishop!"

In response to their angry outburst, Bishop Vincent only smiles, and it is the smile of victory as if everything is under control.

Suddenly, a person reaches out for their firearm.

But how could Bishop Vincent not notice it? He gave a small laugh as he saw the small movements of that person.

"He, do you people have much of a choice?" Bishop Vincent said that while every guard beside the pope was about to reach into their pistols, suddenly they collapsed.

President Francis and the others stopped everything they were doing as they were stunned before it registered with them what had happened. 

Even General Zen Chenglo did not move a muscle anymore as he felt that his body was being restrained. They did not think that the bishop had supernatural powers.

Bishop Vincent then becomes delighted with this display.

"Do you want to know how I acquired this power?" Bishop Vincent said while waving the harmony serum in front of them, tempting them.

"It's only one of the benefits of using this harmony serum. You will feel the strength in your body. It can even restore your youth, and immortality wouldn't be a dream." Some of the leaders became tempted and eager to become a part of it.

Bishop Vincent became satisfied with some of them. As he smiles and continues to explain.

"As you can see, the chaos energy did not just infect the animals, it also infected our bodies as living creatures on this planet, and even the earth itself is being infected, "Bishop Vincent said without remorse.

"Even now as we speak, I do not know if your bodies have already accumulated enough choice energy for you to mutate into monsters." He said

King Charles, and the others, were all stunned by this revelation that they were already infected by the chaos energy.

Pope Lucas took out a scroll and put it in front of the others. On the scroll were all the agreements of the contact. For them, it is a good trade. 

"The Blackfall Palace will provide all the necessary technology to reconstruct the destroyed city and also the blueprint for the serum." So said Bishop Vincent.

The others were surprised that the Blackfall Palace would be willing to provide its technology and the blueprint of the serum to them.

 Bishop Vincent, as if seeing their thoughts, smirked.

"You can choose to not sign this control and turn a blind eye on your people," said Bishop Vincent.

Bishop Vincent is confident that they would agree.

The Town of Cana 

The rainfall is still coming down and shows no sign of stopping.

Inside the ramshackle tent, under the light of the lantern that is tied to the rope. A person could be seen slowly opening his eyes. 

This person is Manasi as he gazes blankly at the fire lamp. Then he slowly moved up his upper naked body and then there was a rattling sound followed by footsteps. 

Manasi could see her face in that dim light. She seems to be in her twenties, with bruised hands and feet. 

'She and her father have to struggle to cope with this difficult situation. A woman like her should be looking for her dream job,' Manasi thought sadly. 

Shiela approached Manasi as she leaned her head towards him, filled with curiosity as she said. 

"Hello, I am Shiela. What is your name? " Asks Shiela while blinking her brown eyes.

She brought a bowl near Manasi's mouth and slowly fed him. Manasi wanted to refuse because he knew their situation. Food became scarce and they could hardly feed themselves.

However, it would be rude to refuse. It's rude to deny food that is offered with so much effort. Manasi smiled at her as he allowed himself to be fed, not even realizing that the food he was eating was frog soup. 

Manasi is too preoccupied with his thoughts to notice. 

"This is delicious! My name is Manasi Shalom. You can call me Manasi. Thank you for saving me. May I know your name as well? " Manasi said politely. 

'Although I would be just fine, I would not despise someone who reached out to me and saved a stranger like me. It is an admirable thing to help someone. ' With that thought in mind, Manasi smiled sincerely at her. 

When she heard that he is grateful to her, she continues to feed him. She gives Manasi a slight smile.

"Don't worry, I'm Shiela Rosewhite," she said calmly, but Manasi could tell she was smiling out of the corner of her lips. 

"How long have I been sleeping here?" Manasi asks her while stretching his body to move his stiff muscles. 

"..... You've been sleeping for two days now ... Even though you haven't eaten, you look quite fit, "she said curiously, putting the bowl aside.

She then passed him the clothes that her father had prepared for Manasi.

She then prepared to go out so Manasi could get dressed, but not before saying to him, "You shouldn't show your body like that. I'm a lady, you know." She said and then shows a beautiful smile to Manasi. 

Manasi was stunned for a moment. It was only now that he realized that it was not normal for a woman to see a man's naked body. 

Manasi then scratches his head, thinking. My time on the Sage Planet has altered my outlook on life or perhaps numbed my senses.

"I should get dressed and see Blossom," Manasi said, worryingly. He wanted to check on her. 

"Hey Spirit System, I know you can hear me," Manasi said. He was still ashamed of what had happened. 

"Spirit System, where is this place?" Manasi said. 

'Contractor, you are currently in the Nation of the De Crusader. In the far east of the kingdom of Asherim, ' Spirit System

"I see." Manasi nodded. 

"Spirit System, open the notification," Manasi said in a whisper.

'[Earth Notification]  

[The four great nations are fortifying their main cities and building military camps to collect mutant plants and animals

They are doing a large-scale experiment and have come into contact with an intelligent species. ]

When Manasi heard about the advanced species, his thoughts started to wander.

"Spirit System saying that the government is contacting the invaders or the animals are gaining intelligence?" Manasi said,
