Chapter 39 Capital of Asherim

This time, some of the people in the crowd are still panicking.

"Brother," Autumn said softly as she climbed into Manasi's embrace.

"Everyone looked up here, " Manasi said to the crowd.

"Now that you've seen what the monsters are capable of doing, I want to know your true thoughts," Manasi said solemnly. 

But no one in the crowd answered Manasi as they were afraid of another monster suddenly popping out of nowhere.

It was also at this time that something unexpected happened. Among the crowd, a little boy left his mother's to embrace as he ran to the very front.

"Brother Manasi! Can we defeat the monsters?" The child shouted, which attracted the attention of the crowd.

His mother ran in panic toward him as she hugged her son. 

"I am sorry for my son, Lake of Discipline."

She said this while turning around and hiding her face from Manasi.

She did not want to be recognized.
