Chapter 69

Once they regained their courage the hunt proceeded like any other despite death being far closer than usual. Thanks to it's size the dragon wasn't too fast which left the Hunters with enough of an opening to dodge when necessary.

That said, their arracks weren't doing much. The scales covering the beast were too hard and the hide beneath them was thick as well. After half an hour of continuous fighting no one managed to penetrate the dragon's defences.

"It's mocking us…" Loki said to nobody in particular. "It knows we won't be able to hurt ot, that's why it didn't fly into the sky…"

The Thundercloud had been on the ground ever since its appearance. It has no reason for doing that, being able to finish them off from up in the sky, however it stayed low. Most likely because of that person.
