CHAPTER 30

In a dark room, Edward sat on a chair, a cup of alcohol in his hand, which he sipped as he swirled himself around. It was 1 a.m., and his celebration party had already come to an end. All the guests had returned home safely. Now that he had achieved everything he ever wanted, it was time to start the games—or rather, the revenge he had planned.

The door opened, and a tall man dressed smartly in a black suit, with dark shades covering his eyes, confidently walked into the room. His name was Gerald, a highly trained, retired personnel in the social services. Gerald had worked for top politicians and the government as a personal aide before, and Edward had employed him a few days ago to become his personal aide.

"You sent for me, sir," Gerald said.

"Have you checked all parts of the estate to ensure no spy is hiding anywhere?" Edward asked.
