Chapter 8: "Day of the execution"

When Victor fainted, Jimmy happily said:

Meleon laughed and said:

"You're finally here?"

When Victor saw in the direction Jimmy pointed, he saw someone being dragged toward the door in an unconscious state. He recognized it as Adam, exclaiming:

"Oh my god, Adam. Who...?"

"It's Meleon. Haha, I knew it, Adam is the one who holds the key."

From Adam's side, the key chain suddenly flew and plugged itself into the lock of the cell. When the door was opened, Jimmy looked towards the unknown and said:

"How's it going, Meleon?"

Victor could not hear Meleon's voice, only heard Jimmy narrate:

"Oh, I see. So as long as I make a ruckus and let the guards and the lab staff run out, let you in, and get that thing for the master, he will open the path, helping us retreat. "

Victor was shocked and said:

"Are you talking about the lab? I see, Handaz's bloody knife, it seems that he was afraid that the headquarters would know something, so he sent this guy here to steal it. The reason he chose you is that you are the most suitable factor for the plan to buy time."

Suddenly the emotion on Jimmy's face changed, he now showed fear instead of exultation as before. Suddenly, Meleon appeared in her true form, saying:

When Victor's brain could not recognize Meleon's shape, he swung his slimy tongue around his neck, wrapping it so tightly that it made it difficult for him to breathe, his face was red to his ear, and his mouth gaped.

When he was going to die because he could hardly breathe, Victor saw Jimmy suddenly rush in to intervene:

"You can't kill him. He will be of use to me."

Meleon removed the tongue from Victor's neck and said:

Then he went invisible and left. Victor coughed for a few hours while looking at Jimmy and asked:

Jimmy didn't forget to run over and press the fire alarm as planned when no one had not noticed him yet. After that, he kept running to find something. Suddenly, he saw that the police had arrived, so he took a female employee hostage. He noticed that there was no way out around him, so he shouted:

"You guys put down your weapons. Otherwise, I'll cut her throat."

"We will. Don't do something tough for them." - An police officer kept him calm and ran away.

When the invisible Meleon heard all the scientists running out of the lab with the panicked emotion after hearing the sound of the fire alarm, he laughed so hard and said:

"So it's the signal that expressed the plan has already begun."

When everyone in the lab was out there, he snuck inside. After a few minutes of searching, he finally found the glass case that contained the knife. He immediately took it and went to the door.

But when he reached the door, he saw something flying towards him quickly, so he jumped to dodge. But he didn't expect it to be a sandbag. It burst open the moment he jumped, causing his eyes to be temporarily blinded and his half body covered in sand. When he revealed his true shape and was struggling on the floor, he heard someone's footsteps coming in, he recognized that guy as Michael. Michael said:

"Finally, I know your true identity, you monster."

When Meleon was no longer dazzled, the knife case disappeared from the floor. The one who picked it up was none other than Michael but in the form of a warrior. He panicked and said:

"You...you shouldn't be here."

"Why can't I stay here?"

"How do you know…?"

"I have been following you since you arrived and learned of the plot and connection between you and the death row inmate named Jimmy. I investigated his background and learned that he is also an 'elite descendant'."

"I see, what a surprise. But it's too late, you should remember that if you don't let me go, the hostage that Jimmy holds will die."

"I already know that plan of yours. Handaz was smart when he chose someone like him to join his plan to buy time. That's why I have brought here someone who will foil your plot."

Suddenly a person ran in from outside the door with a full of angry look, Michael and Meleon recognized that guy as Adam, Meleon exclaimed:

"Hmm, you bastard, dared to sneak up on me and then release the death row inmate, fortunately, his roommate woke me up and told me to come here, and he ran to Jimmy. Your sins are unforgivable."

With a shocked expression, Meleon said:

"Jimmy spared his life. This stupid bastard."

"So Victor is still alive and is about to meet Iron Head, I hope he doesn't mess things up because of his emotion."

He looked at Meleon and said:

"Your plan is ruined."

The reaction he got was Meleon's mocking laugh. He said:

"You think this is the end? Not yet, we have a backup plan for this thanks to the genius mind of Mr. Handaz. The hostage now is not just one, but all of the people inside."

At that moment, at the place where Jimmy was holding his hostage, when he saw the staff in the laboratory come to him, he didn't say anything, just stood there with the knife in his hand, causing some people to show both fear and confusion. Jimmy thought:

"Okay, we just need to keep them here for a while. Hope everything goes well."

From the window on the left-hand side a few feet from him, a door breaker broke in and threw a dart in Jimmy's hand, he cried out in pain, and let go of the hostage. That is the Iron Head. His appearance surprised the police. Jimmy's hand was bleeding a lot, but when he saw Iron Head, he was so scared that he forgot about it, stammering:

"Is…is that you?"

Iron Head just laughed and said exactly one sentence:

"Jimmy Banker, 30 years old, 7th generation descendant of Russel Banker Jr., a devotee of the Goddess. Now that I have come to take your life, do you have any last words?"

At this moment, Victor appeared, and when he saw that scene, he ran out and told the policemen:

Iron Head saw Victor and said:

"I wish I could stop you by force now. Now I want to talk to you. Please put down the blade."

"I don't want to talk. Now see the moment I finish him off."

When Iron Head just lifted the blade to stab Jimmy, a few screams and roars from outside resounded. Before anyone could understand what had happened, an alarm sounded and a voice came from the headquarters loudspeaker:

"Urgent announcement! Currently, there are many creatures with horror-like appearances, like zombies flooding the headquarters more and more. Ask everyone to evacuate from the danger area to find a way out or go down to the bunker immediately. The staff quickly gathered on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors to help people and prisoners evacuate."

At this time, the police officers were all panicking about pulling together there. Suddenly, a group of zombies came in from outside. They looked quite hideous and bloodthirsty, and began to attack the people in front of them. Victor exclaimed:

"Where did they come from? It looks horrible, like the zombies in those zombie pandemic movies. Could it be… Handaz's army?"

Meanwhile, at the laboratory, when he heard unusual noises outside, Michael exclaimed:

"What's so noisy out there?"

"Ha ha ha, they have finally arrived."

"Who's coming?"

"Handaz's reinforcements. The good drama has just begun."

"Bastard Handaz, is he planning to use everyone here as hostages?"

Michael now ran out of patience and said:

Michael pointed his gun at Adam, to Meleon's pleasure.
