Mom, I'm to blame

"The secret agent I asked to bring you back told me about what happened when he saw you at your mom's house. He told me you were about killing yourself with a knife. I really can't tell what would have happened to me if you died. Please don't ever try taking your life again."

"Grandfather, I promise I won't ever try that again. Now I know I have a family, I have no reason to commit suicide again." Elmo assured the old man.

"Alright, I hope you keep your words. Uh I also had the agent to investigate where you have been living all these years after your mom's death and he told me you have been staying with your in-laws. I can't believe you were always treated badly by those mothers and daughters duo!" He said.

How could they treat you like a worthless? I'll make sure they pay for all they have done in ten folds! Firstly I want you to tell me what punishment you want to punish them for all the unjust done to you, if you want I can get her ruined forever so that even if they tried getting back to the top they will only fail!" Anger filled him as he muttered those words out.

"Grandfather I don't think you need to get involved in this and as for Kiara and her family will definitely do something about them." He said in a cold tone.

"Okay fine I wouldn't interfere just make sure you make the right decision." He said looking at his grandson's cold demeanor.

"Okay grandfather."

"Let's go back inside." The old master said and they both went back into the villa.

Meanwhile at Fallon city, Elmo's mother in law was so happy about how things ended between Elmo and her daughter.

"That impoverished son in law of mine is finally gone. I'm  so happy that my daughter won't be with that poor, low wrecked man. Now she will be with Mr Henry after all Mr Henry is wealthy and influential." Camilla smiled to herself as she imagined Kiara and Mr Henry being together.

Just as she was smiling to herself she saw Kiara walking down the stairs with two luggages in her hand.

"Where are you going with this luggages?" Camilla asked, looking confused.

"Mom, we are going on a vacation to another country. I really need to clear my head for something so I feel leaving the country for a while is the best.

"Okay so have you booked the tickets?" Camilla asked.

"Yes. In fact our flight will take off in the next two hours."

Elmo could be seen on the terrace looking at the dark clouds with a glass of red wine.

His nut brown eyes listlessly looked out at the already dark clouds. There were no emotions on his handsome face.

He had not even drank any of the wine

Holding the glass in his hands, he stared at the shining star.

However, there was an air of loneliness and desolation about him, as if he had been abandoned by the entire world and was only left with the moonlight..

The image of the person who used to call him Elmo which used to sound totally different to him flashed past his mind.

When he saw her with another man, his cold hearted expression went down at that moment.

Although she has always said he doesn't love her, he knew deep down that she knew that his love for her was incomparable.

But what happened at the end of everything; pain and heartbreak..

He can't believe he got cheated on.

Elmo tightened his grip on his wine glass.

The night looks beautiful but with her not by his side, the beautiful moon somehow looks meaningless.

He snapped out of his thoughts when the chilly breeze hit him.

Elmo immediately gave a call to Peter, his best friend and told him about everything that has happened to him so far at the Lara's mansion.

“Elmo, I am surely going to come to the villa tomorrow so be expecting me. Make sure you text me the address. Okay bye!" Peter said happily and Elmo hung up. Still with his phone, his finger pressed on the message button. He wants to send a message to Kiara asking how she is doing but then stops himself after remembering what happened yesterday.

How could he forget what he saw in the hotel?

“No I can't..

Whereas at the new mansion which Kiara bought for a change of environment, she was on the balcony looking at the beautiful shining star with a gloomy expression on face.

Just looking at her back, one could see the alluring figure she possesses. Without even looking at her face, anyone seeing her back would definitely know she's a beauty.

Her worried eyes were just looking at the dark clouds. Her eyes kept staring at her phone from time to time. 

"Why hasn't Elmo called yet?" 

She was worried that he has been away from the house for two nights now.

"Could it be that he has gone back to Lara's mansion and didn't meet anyone there. Should I ask the housekeeper whether or not Elmo came back?" She picked up her phone and dialed a number which was picked by an old man.

“Has Elmo come back yet?" She asked and when the old man said no she hung up immediately.

Just then, Camilia came to the balcony and saw her daughter's worried face.

“Mom, do you think Elmo is still upset?" Kiara asked immediately after seeing Camillia.

Hearing her daughter calling Elmo's  name. She frowned.

"Why are you calling that worthless man's name?" She asked coldly.

"Mom, Elmo left home looking angry yesterday and I don't know how he is now. I'm sure he must be sleeping on the street or maybe under the bridges. And what if some harm comes to him?"

"Elmo left willingly, we weren't the one who chased him out. So what's our fault with him being harmed?"

"Mom, I'm to blame."

" I was the one who slept with Mr Henry because you said so. You told me if I slept with Mr Henry, he would make me act in this new movie which would make me famous all over the world and not only in the country."

"Kiara!" Camilla raised her voice. " Don't tell me you have started having feelings for that low wrecked man?!"

"Mom…uh uhm how could y-you think so? Of course I am not feeling anything for him."

Hearing her reply, Camilla's expression changed to a sweet one.

 "That's my girl! You know I want the best for you; don't worry, I will introduce you to someone who is wealthy. When I am talking of wealth, I am talking of someone who would be able to buy the lastest things without any stress."

"You should only listen to my words and I assure you that if you listen to me, you will surely be happy. You know you are the most beautiful woman ever who many wealthy men would be willing to marry without any delay. Even many ladies are dying and wishing to have this face of yours. You know if I announce that you're single, thousands of men will be in the queue just to marry you. And in fact you're aware that Mr Henry likes you."

After Camilla feels she has somehow made her daughter understand, she leaves the room feeling a little happy. "I don't care if he gets hurt, all I know is that I am happy that he has left for good." She smiled weirdly.

After Camilla left, Kiara came back to her state of thinking.

"Elmo I hope you're not gone forever. I hope you will come back?" 

She wanted to call him but couldn't due to the fact that she thought Elmo might see it as though she was begging him to come back. If she called him, it would be a total shame to her, after all she was the one who chased him out herself.

"Yes I know Elmo will come back. After all, he has no place to stay." She assured herself with that word as she left the balcony to her room.
