CHAPTER 101

Officer Andreas’ breath grew shallow with a weakening intake of apprehension and his body was still with anxiety because he knew that everything that had been going on in the interrogation room had nothing to do with the real matter at hand. He knew that he was guilty of going beyond the scope of his right.

Every question he asked Alan pointed to the pain he had in his mind from the death of his cousin. Nothing was pointing to the alleged assault or investigation about what happened at the gym.

But he wasn’t going to spill his faults to the inspector.

“Oh, of course, Inspector. We have gotten a little information from him,” Officer Andreas responded. “He claims that he was only minding his business but he seems to be holding back on whether he was a joint member with the other three or he really assaulted them.”
