Officer Andreas’ senses were on high alert with a desperate pique of attention and his ears strained with a tug of desperation. He was looking for a loophole in the testimony that he was going to pounce on.

“Luckily, Alan stood up and tried to defend himself but the thugs seemed to have been prepared for the whole situation because they began to beat him up and insult him until he lay on the ground writhing in pain. That was when we knew that it was no longer safe at the gym center.”

Officer Andreas bulldozed his way into Pasalic’s speech, his voice piercing through. “Hmm, so how then did the men you claim to be thugs were the ones who got badly injured.”
