CHAPTER 104

Under normal circumstances, suspects who are kept in police custody over the night are kept in a police cell but it was going to be easy to convince Inspector Tyson to let him sleep in the investigation room instead. He didn’t even have to convince the inspector for that to happen. He could decide on his own.

“How about Khartoum, Palacios, and Torstein eh? They are the real culprits here. I should be the one most concerned about ensuring that they get the hard end of justice served on them but you haven’t even told me anything about them,” Alan protested.

Officer Vincent waved his hand in the air with a perceived disgust. “Mr. Greyson, you are once again trying to be Lord over your own matter. It doesn’t work that way. You need to understand that things run in a different terrain here.”

Officer Andreas’ posture was closed off, his body language indicating a refusal to be drawing into any of Alan’s requests or pleadings anymore. “I think we are going to see you at another time.”
