CHAPTER 111

Alan’s expression was a frozen mask and a rigid facade that hid the surprise that coursed through his veins.

He knew that he had to drink the cup immediately so that whoever it was that was watching them wouldn’t suspect that he had read something that alerted him of the danger. His guts had to be correct that it was Officer Andreas.

He had revealed his motive for the hatred that he had towards him and Alan knew that it was only a matter of time before he tried to do something really dangerous to him or even try to kill him.

Alan’s lips were a feigned sip as he engaged himself in a rehearsed gesture that was enough to deceive the eye into believing that he was sipping the coffee when in fact, the cup was still filled with the content that it had.

Officer Andreas drank from his own cup of coffee but knowing that his cup wasn’t poisoned, he gulped the content down his throat.
