CHAPTER 110

Alan was still reeling from the effect that the dream had on him. His eyes were heavy with the weight of frustration as an explosion of an entrance jolted him into attention.

Alan adjusted his gaze towards the figure that burst into him late at night.

He wasn’t an officer or at least he didn’t look like one. Alan had his mind swirling with thoughts as to who the man was.

He was tall and wearing a uniform but not like the uniforms that the cops wore. It was more like the uniforms that porters or custodians usually wore. His eyes were shiny in the midst of the darkness and he looked as alert as ever.

He was holding two cups in his hands which he assumed to be cups of coffee because of the aroma that he was perceiving.

The man took his place in the seat opposite where Alan was and fixed his gaze onto Alan who waited patiently to hear what he was going to say. He would have yelled with aggression again if it was Officer Andreas or Vincent who entered the room but he thought to himself -
