CHAPTER 188

He went about searching for Gregory. If he could scream his name, he would have but it wouldn't solve anything. The loud music was always going to overshadow his voice.

Alan was getting tired of being on the constant move and looking for any sign of Gregory or the assassin. He was beginning to think that perhaps the idea of giving up wasn't so bad. Perhaps all he had to do was to divert his attention to the address of another one of the miners.

But just as Alan was about to head for the exit, his eyes caught up with Gregory.

Gregory had wine in his hands, his lips swirling with vain enjoyment as he was dancing with a young girl.

Alan noticed that the young girl was the same girl who blocked him a few moments ago and asked him to dance with her. What a surprise?! Alan exclaimed in his mind.

Alan quickly rushed over to Gregory and tapped him on the shoulder.

“Hey, Gregory. Come on, I need to talk to you now,” Alan spoke hastily ignoring the lady that he was dancing with.
