Her face was contorted with a wrinkle of concern and her line of thought was hijacked by Alan’s speech.

“Here, take this gun,” Alan spoke. “This is how you are going to use it. You just pull this place, it is called the trigger okay? But I assure you that there won't be any reason for you to shoot him. Look at him, he is properly tied up.”

Sharapova’s face was still etched with worry. “But why don't you just kill him once and for all? If he is dead, we don't have to worry about him anymore right?”

Alan swallowed. “That is not entirely correct, we might still need him and that is why we need to keep him alive just in case. Come on, take it.”
