“No, officer. I already said that I want to make this as peaceful as possible. I don't want us to have any issues and this doesn't have to be difficult at all.”

Officer Barney's brow furrowed in deep thought, his expression pensive and serious as he considered the implications of heeding Jamie’s request.

He turned back to have a little discussion with his colleagues, his deliberation a potent force that showed that he was analytical in his attempts.

After having a brief whisper with his colleagues, he returned to Officer Jamie.

“I would like to see some identification by all the members of your team first before I release him.”

Officer Jamie didn't have a problem with the request. He scoffed and then signaled to the other officers in his team that they should each show their identity cards.

Each of the officers in Officer Jamie’s team then showed their identity cards in a bid to convince Barney that they were real cops. Officer Barney inspected each other the officer one of the other.
