CHAPTER 53

“You must have prepared so well for that day. If I knew how prepared you were, I would have probably rooted for you. I always take my chances with people who are prepared because it shows strength which unfortunately you didn't show.

Alan’s nose flared with a deadly whiff of disgust. “How shameless could you possibly be? Isn't it ridiculous that the same man who you all laughed at is now heading a consortium that has official ratings as the best in the whole of the Western and Eastern district?”

Mr. Lawrence ignored Alan’s statement and opted to ridicule him. “How terrible the Billing’s family must be, eh? To humiliate their most loyal slave like that without any remorse and to make a public shame of him.”

Mr. Lawrence snapped his finger with a signal to instruct his men to continue hitting the elevator walls. When he noticed that they were getting a little distracted by the phone call, he put away the phone while it was still on the line.

He then whispered. “Come on, keep hitting it.
