CHAPTER 66

Mr. Lawrence noticed Rose’s eyes were still gleaming with a courageous flame of daring and her lips pursed with a clamp of bravery and fortitude.

“Say your prayers!” Mr. Lawrence screeched, his eyes burning red with fury.

He wanted Rose to beg for her life. He wanted to see the fear in her eyes before he snuffed the life out of her. It was going to give him a lot of satisfaction if Rose showed fear or begged for her life. He had thought about the scene where Rose was on her knees begging for her life and it gave him so much satisfaction knowing that he had the opportunity to do it in real life.

Anytime he thought about the fact that Rose chose Alan over him and even dared to escape the hotel suite with his son Brody, it made his soul tear up into shreds.

But there was something about the way things were that wasn't quite just as he had imagined it in his mind.

She wasn't kneeling.

“Remove the ropes tied on her and get her to kneel,” Mr. Lawrence instructed his men.
