44. The Shock And The Intention

Having waited for far too long, Davis was still answering the reporters' different questions like a parrot whose beak had been poked and couldn't stop squawking. At this point, Isabella could no longer take it, as she saw it as total bullsh*t. She wondered about the questions and answers Davis had given to the reporters, and she knew it was time to bail him out and escape the relentless questioning lest he say something they would regret forever.

Like an angry queen of doom roaring at her subjects, Isabella stepped out of the car and hurried towards the reporters, who also rushed towards her as they saw her coming to them.

As they both reached each other and the cameramen were behind the female reporter, before Isabella could say anything, the female reporter thrust her microphone into Isabella's mouth and another mic into her own as she asked,

"Ms. Isabella Rosewood, Mr. Davis John said your father is a thief who masterminded the whole diversion of the company's funds to his own pers
