Slowly, the days passed by. A week was gone in the blink of an eye. On this particular Wednesday morning, Ethan was engrossed in his work at his computer when the door swung open. In walked Sophia, bearing a tray laden with a rich, delicious meal and a bottle of water neatly arranged beside it.

She placed the tray on Ethan's table and leaned over to plant a soft kiss on his cheek. "Hubby, I made this for you. It's your favorite Beef Bourguignon."

Ethan couldn't help but smile, touched by her thoughtful gesture. "Thank you, Sophia. You're doing amazing, but please don't overexert yourself."

Sophia nodded, her eyes filled with warmth. "Don't worry at all. Elora has been a tremendous help. I'll leave you to your work now. Make sure to eat, okay?"

Ethan nodded, his gratitude evident. "I will." Another gentle kiss, and Sophia left the room.

As soon as Sophia departed, Ethan's phone began to ring. Glancing at the screen, he saw it was a call from Victoria. He quickly answered. "Hello."
