Chapter 98: Suit

Taking a deep breath, Giselle began to explain her unfortunate predicament. "I tripped while serving, and the wine accidentally spilled on that man," she recounted, her voice laced with regret. "I've pleaded with him several times, apologizing profusely, but he simply won't accept my apology."

Ethan's eyes narrowed with a mix of concern and anger as he listened intently to Giselle's account. He got up and turned to the young man.

"Would you keep hitting a lady because of a small mistake?" Ethan's voice seethed with anger as he confronted the young man, his eyes blazing with intensity.

The young man sneered dismissively and retorted, "Small mistake? Take a look at my clothes now. I'm having a date tonight, and do you know how long it took for the lady to finally agree to have dinner with me? And now she soils my shirt."

Ethan's face contorted with a mixture of anger and contempt. "So, you want to bully her because of a mere soiled cloth?" He shot back, his voice dripping with disdain.
