After his quick scan, Alexander confirmed what he had already thought about coming to the store and that was that the Gustav Emporium only dealt with cooperate/formal wear.There were no everyday or casual wears in sight but he knew that that was the case and still decided to come anyway. Once Laura was done taking all the necessary measures, she dropped the measuring tape on the counter and picked up the tablet.Using the digital pen that came with it, she went into a certain app whose interface was designed to look like a form of Excel spreadsheet. However, this one was specifically for fashion designers, and once opened, it had every label she needed.There was the label for head size, shoulder length, leg length, and every other measurement she had taken from Alexander.Laura imputed all of Alexander’s measurements that she had saved in her head, doing so quickly before she forgot one and would have to take the measurements all over again.When she was done, she entered the app’s settings and selected the one to minimize and pin the page to her tablet’s screen so that she could do other things while still seeing all the measurements she had taken.Once minimized, the tablet’s display was taken to the app's menu while the minimized form of the pinned spreadsheet pag

Just then, Laura, who had done most of the checking out process, stretched the tablet to Alexander. She said “Sir, please put in the address you would like the delivery to be made to. I’ve already chosen the express delivery service, so everything you put in the cart will be delivered within the next twenty-three hours” “Alright.” Alexander took the tablet and inputed the Sam’s hotel address. Laura pointed at the spot to put the phone number as well. “Because it’s my account we are using to make the purchases, if you don’t input your phone number here then it’s the one I used to create the account that would be messaged and called to inform when the delivery has been made” “So what you’re saying is that it’s super important that I put my number here. Got it” Alexander said then went ahead to type his phone number. Laura scrolled down and helped Alexander to press the COMPLETE button to go to the next page. Immediately after he finished reading the message from the system, Alexander furrowed his eyebrows There was something slightly odd about it. ‘I didn’t ask the system to activate the Skill Copy Feature, but here I am receiving a message that it did, which must mean that it predicted what I wanted and did it for me. The robotic-seeming system I had yesterday wouldn’t have done this and that only means that I was right, the system is growing and becoming more aware’ Alexander thought and then smirked. With the rate at which the system was growing, it was only a matter of days before it developed self-awareness and Alexander couldn’t wait to see what that would be like. Alexander cleared his throat, letting go of any further thoughts about the system, and then focused on Laura. “Are you ready?” He asked. “As ready as I’ll ever be. Hit me” she said, anticipating what the riddle he was about to ask was going to be like. “What is there one of in every corner and two of in every room?”
