{ THE ESCAPE }

After Diana's punch connected, I staggered backward, the pain spreading through my face. With my teeth clenched, I braced myself, feeling the adrenaline rushing through my body intensifying my perception. This was not the moment to delay. I wasn't ready to let Shadow Blade out. I was scared Rosetta would see me as a demon. All this was because of her anyway.
