CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND ONE

{ JONAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY}

The SUV raced through the night, the sound of sirens fading into the distance as they left the prison behind. Inside, tension hung thick in the air, mingling with the scent of blood and sweat. Dickson lay in the backseat, his breathing shallow, his face pale as he kept losing a lot of blood. Jonas hovered over him, his hands trembling as he tried to apply pressure to his father's wound. Blood kept flowing as he tried to apply pressure on the wound.

"Keep pressing," Jackson urged, his voice strained with worry. "We need to stop the bleeding." He shouted from the driver's seat trying to make sure Jonas was applying pressure on Dickson's wound

Jonas nodded, his gaze fixed on his father's face. "Hang in there, Dad," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "We're going to get you help."
