the door creaked open, and and Jackson's eyes widened in amazement. Inside Jonas's room, it was empty, save for a neatly made bed and a few scattered belongings. There were no signs of Jonas ever having been there.

Inspector Merrill and his team searched every nook and cranny, but all they found were ordinary items: clothes, books, and personal items. There was no evidence linking Jonas to the house.

Dickson stood by, watching the search unfold with a calm demeanor. He knew that Akuma, his mysterious ally, had ensured that there would be no trace of Jonas left behind. Despite the tension in the air, Dickson remained composed, he knew he could trust Akuma.

After an exhaustive search, Inspector Merrill turned to Dickson with a frustrated expression. "There's nothing here, Mr. Dickson," he admitted grudgingly. "But mark my words, we'll find your son, and when we do, he'll face justice for his crimes."
