Feran's jaw stiffened when he heard his father seek his return. He couldn't believe they wanted him back after forsaking him for three years now. He recalled how he struggled to live in a split of seconds when he was cast away until Laura's grandfather saw him and abhorred him.

Now, he was the wanted son? What about the family's favorite son? He thought. Has Vicentzo refused to take up the responsibilities leveled on him? He mused and shrugged. He didn't care about that. He wasn't interested in returning and that was just it. He despised just the thought of returning to his family, the family that had disregarded him.

"Son, please return to us. Stop staying away from us," his mother, Zita also requested with an emotional tone.

"No, mother. Don't try to emotionally fool me. I'm way smarter than you guys think," Feran said, shaking his head.

"We know. But we truly hate the fact that it took us this long to realize your worth. We need you home now, son," sir Leo said.
