Mark stared at Laura with a grimace and enjoyed the way his grandmother made her uncomfortable with her stare.

"Grandmother, good morning," Laura said.

"What's good about the morning? Nothing is good, you know? You're sleeping when it's past 10 am, isn't that wrong? You ought to be in your office tending to some works kept for you!" Ma'am Miguel said.

"I came back late last night and I was stressed. It took a toll on me and that's why I woke up late. Pardon my manners."

"You don't deserve pardon after what you've done," Mark said and Laura eyed him.

"What I've I done? Nothing,right, grandmother?" Laura asked ma'am Miguel.

"What the hell are you doing here, Laura? Why did you leave the Anderson villa? Has your mission been completed?" Ma'am Miguel asked. Laura didn't utter a word. "You better start talking, Laura. I'm running out of patience, you know."
