AM I THE RIGHT KING?

Leaning by the doors he just slammed shut, King Stylx slid down the doors and crashed to the ground. He had always wanted to be king but this task before him was undauntly fearful and scary. How can he face off with creatures of time and entities that once had Weoss wounded. He had no Gogla or fairies to help him with this, this wasn't about armies or manpower like the librarian said earlier, this was a battle of the supernatural and ancient powers. He still doesn't know the full picture of the whole story jugding from what the librarian said about uncovering the full story when they were to converge later on. He could still remember what Weoss had told him the night after which he was crowned king, he didn't read much meaning to it but now it all made sense, every single word the Mystic Lion said were now fitting together

After the whole burdensome crowning event, King Stylx had retired to the royal chambers. Smiling at the sculptor of him in the centre of the pathway to the king's room, he made silly noises as he closed the doors of the chambers behind him. As tired as he was, he still couldn't bring himself to rest as he paced round the room in excitement before ending by the giant turqoise window. As he stared out of the outside opaque but inner transparent structure, he felt like crying as he remembered that his parents couldn't witness this record breaking feat that had happened to their lineage. He gently sat in one of the chairs as his mood had suddenly changed, he began to drift into deep thinkings as he came to realize how lonely he would be as king since he had no family member to call his own. Being a tired human, sleep soon overtook him as he crumpled on the seat.

Walking through burning bushes and volcano erupting mountains, Stlyx had his name being called loudly from the end of the valley where he was. He looked around and saw nothing in sight, the call came again louder than before. Soon hyenas began to emerge from the bushes with flames all over their body. They walked towards Stylx, chuckling mischeviously and smacking their tongues, Stylx made for his sword of flame but he noticed that he didn't wear his sword gear, he was defenceless against this flesh eating monsters, he took his fighting stance even though deep down he knew he stood no chance being empty handed against his predators. Just then he heard a stilling voice that rang across the area, "believe in yourself, all you need is in your hands and mind" the gentle voice said as he readjusted close his eyes and went into deep meditation. Soon the sword of flames gradually emerged from his hands as he focused, his predators who were initially advancing quickly reduced their steps but still continued their advances. Stylx smiled as he now had the full steel of a sword of flames in his hands. The beasts charged at him but cutting each and everyone of them down was so easy for him. Each stroke had a body part of the vicious creatures dropping on the ground as Stylx made no mistake in butchering the six weird looking hyenas. Pushing the last of the fallen beast to create way for him to come up from the sloppy plain where the face off had forced him toozhe had the voice calling his name again. He recognised the voice immediately, the authority laden voice of the Mystic Lion Weoss

The courtroom was filled with all the Eeries of the twelve provinces of Onyx, the army chiefs were not left out as well as notable figures in Onyx. They were still awaiting the arrival of King Stylx who surprisingly was not here yet irrespective of the dire urgency of the meeting. Mumurings could be heard at every corner of the room as some of those in attendance couldn't hide their displeasure over the seeming non challant attuide of the king in the face of the great terror that was pending." I told you that he lacked what it takes to rule a great city as Onyx, can you now see the signs?" One of the Eeries whispered to his colleague as he bent slightly. "He juat assumed the throne, you don't expect him to be perfect and sound aready, he is still new to ruling and don't forget is human too, all he needs from us as his board members and officials is our total support and help, I have no doubt that he would make a fine king if not the best, nowquit whinning and seat properly. Stop pretending and make people believe that you are searching for something on the floor while what you are really searching for is a revolt against our beloved king" the Eerie replied with some form of disgust in the later part of his words. The complaining Eerie quickly sat upright,  adjusted his clothes and coughed loudly as eyes were beginning to turn to his side after the slightly shouted later parts of the Eries that answered him was heard. The Librarians walked in almost immediately and was disappointed to see that the king wasn't seated on his throne. He took a careful glance around the hall before asking " Where is our king?"

Stylx got closer to where the vouce was coming from and saw a cave, hovering round the cave were eagles of might, each flap of their wings emitted fire as they circled round the cave. The voice came again as he prepared to use his sword to drive away those beasts that were preventing him from gaining entrance. "It's not by power or might son, just decree and the eagles will obey" the voice said. Stylx withdrew his sword, shealthed it and with a firm voice said " I order you eagles of might to give way so that I King Stylx of Onyx, successor of Weoss and the general commander  of the starlights might gain access to the place where my Lord keeps calling me from. The Eagles formed two straight wall like lines with wide space in between for Stylx to pass, as he made his way through the walls, the eagles with their flaps gave him a welcome sound. On getting to the entry point of the cave, Stylx bowed to the eagles and ordered them to continue the hovering around the entrance of the cave before quietly and gently walking instead towards the light that was beaming from a distance

"We need the king to be here as we don't have anytime to waste before things get out of hands as pertaining to these ravaging creatures" the librarian said with some form of concern in his voice. "The king ordered that no one should come to his inner chambers again but messages for him should kept in ths courtroom as he promised to check them each time he comes in here for his meditations" the royal palace messenger said with the aim of killing any idea of them sending him to call the king out. "As the head of the Eeries and the next in command after the king, I order that the meeting commences as you can now share with us what you were able to dig out dear Maestro" the eldest of the Eeries ordered. The librarian looked round the room to ascertain the consention of those in attendance to this claim before coughing out to indicate his going ahead. "Well I am not totally here to tell you things about the creatures but to suggest that more findings be done before we can carry out any strategic planning, since we are yet to hear words from the seven nations about any attacks on them by these creatures, we can't conclude totally of what they are and the amount of threat they possess. We are not yet sure if these are the very monsters that attack Weoss in the past and led to a mystical due two thousand years ago. So as not to be left in the dark on some of the threat and abilities of our new enemies, I suggest that Onyx calls for a meeting with the seven nations in order to know fully what we are up against whether the enemies came only for Onyx or this is a threat to the entire Sunero. Some mumurings could be heard rising in the gatherings as people held different views to the suggestion, the eldest among the Eeries who had been pacing around then spoke " you spoke of the danger in delaying, don't you think that this meeting will offer more of that delay?" He asked. "Yes I know that but we can't square up against an enemy we don't know fully well or much about, that is why I suggest that plans for that meeting kick off in earnest in order to minimize the damage that we delaying might cause and I still think we need the King's presence before suggesting or making any decision because he is the only one with the sole authority to decide for the kingdom as the commander of the people of light" The librarian replied as he closed the scroll he had been reading from
