A MILLION DOLLARS WITHDRAWAL.

Slade made his way to the bank to make some withdrawals, get a new phone, and buy some clothes.

He rode a cab to the bank and joined the queue.

Once it was his turn, the banker looked down on him.

She had known Slade for two years, since he married Sophia and became the son-in-law of the Collins family.

To her, Slade was a jobless bum who was senseless and behaved like a fool.

" How may I help you?" she asked, her tone condescending.

From the look in her eyes to the attitude she was emitting, Slade already knew that she was looking down on him.

But one thing she wasn't aware of was that he was no longer a jobless bum, a foolish man, but someone with great medical skills who was also a millionaire.

" I'm here to make some withdrawals." Slade replied, handing her his card. The banker snorted.

" If not a hundred dollars, then what?" she murmured to herself, but Slade heard her and kept quiet.

" I'm here to withdraw a million dollars." he intentionally drew his words, causing the banker's eyes to snap towards him.

" I think you're mistaken, Mr. Ryan." she started. " I don't think you've lost your memory, but you don't withdraw more than two hundred dollars. I'm not sure you even have up to a thousand dollars in your account."

The banker's words were laced with sarcasm and mockery.

" I am aware." Slade replied calmly. " I'm here to withdraw a million dollars, and I would appreciate it if you could make the withdrawal. I'm in a hurry."

" I just hope you're not drunk." she said, her voice filled with disdain. " Can you move to the left side? I need to attend to other customers."

" What about me?" Slade's brow creased. " I was here before them. And moreover, it's supposed to be my turn."

" The customers behind you are prestigious ones. They are the ones who hold this bank, so you can as well move aside. Once I'm done with them, I will attend to you."

Slade was mad.

He had already seen this coming, because it had happened in his past life.

Exactly the same way it happened in his first life.

But then, he wasn't withdrawing a huge amount of money; it was only two hundred bucks. He had been calm and collected and had to move as the banker said, but not this time.

" I won't leave until you attend to me. I was here before them." Slade was adamant, and he wasn't ready to leave until he was attended to.

" Aren't you here to withdraw the usual two hundred bucks? You can at least wait for the prestigious customers who are here to withdraw huge amounts of money to leave, only then will I be able to attend to you and give you the two hundred bucks you want."

Her voice was filled with disdain as she continued to glare and look down on Slade.

" Didn't you hear what I said?" Slade asked.

" What is that? you're here to withdraw a million? You and I should know that you can never have such an amount of money in your entire life, except you stole it."

Slade couldn't believe it.

He was speechless at how she looked down on him and wrote him off even before checking if he had such an amount of money.

The banker was indeed arrogant and an unethical lady who needed to be disciplined.

Slade was about to speak up when he heard a feminine voice from behind him.

" What is my foolish brother-in-law doing here?" Her voice carried a hint of mockery.

Slade already knew who it was, and as a matter of fact, he had already seen it coming!

He knew that his sister-in-law, Sophia's younger sister, would be coming to the bank with her rumored boyfriend, Levi.

Selina had come to make a withdrawal with her boyfriend and happened to come across Slade.

At first, she doubted that it was him.

He was supposed to be among the people in the queue for two hundred bucks, but no!

He was standing where she and her boyfriend queued for a million-dollars withdrawal.

Selina knew that Slade could never have a million dollars, even if he stole it!

" I guess you're ashamed to admit the fact that you're here to withdraw the money you stole from my sister!" Selina glanced at Slade with disgust.

Though he was aware that she would be coming to the bank, he never knew that he would be accused of stealing a million dollars from Sophia, his wife.

He never saw that coming!

The banker smirked and turned to Slade.

" I knew it! You're a poor rat who can't afford a million dollars, so you stole it?" The banker wasted not even a second to taunt Slade.

" I didn't steal it from Sophia! How about we call and ask if her money is missing?" Slade challenged, and Selina nodded.

" Deal. And if it turns out that you stole it, I will personally throw you into jail, bum!"

Selina took out her expensive phone and put a call across to Sophia, who picked up after the third ring.

" Dear sister, did you lose any money? Like a million dollars?" Selina asked.

" No, I didn't. Why did you ask?" Sophia replied.

" Because I'm suspecting Slade of stealing a million dollars. I just caught him trying to withdraw a million dollars from the bank. He seems in a hurry!" Selina said.

" Where did he get such a huge amount of money from? I never gave him such, and I doubt his job as an errand doctor could generate him such an amount."

" Don't worry, Sis. I will take care of him. I will make sure to force the truth out of his mouth!" Selina smirked and hung up.

The banker's mouth hung open.

While Selina was making the call, she had inserted Slade's bank card and decided to check his account balance.

Upon seeing the numbers, her mouth hung open, and her eyes widened like the size of an orange.

He had a whopping $10,000,000 in his account!

" This... how did you get such an amount of money?" She stuttered, while Slade remained calm, his eyes searing into hers.

" If you love your job, withdraw a million dollars for me," Slade's eyes held seriousness. "Now!”
