Five Months Pregnant.

After Quinn was discharged from the hospital, Ivan and Vera took her home.

"How are you feeling? Do you need anything?" Vera asked, but Quinn shook her head.

"Take me to the room, please," she requested.

Vera nodded and helped her to the room. She laid on the bed, turning to the other side, as she curled herself up.

Vera wanted to say something, but the words were not coming out of her mouth. She patted her back, and bade her goodnight, before shutting the door.

"I think you should give her some time," Vera said to Ivan, who tried to go into the room.

He held the door knob with a strong grip, and let out a sigh.

"I hate that she is going through so much pain, and I cannot do anything about it. If anything happens to her, I swear I will never forgive myself. It will be a disappointment that I could not protect my sister," he expressed, leaning his forehead on the wall.

Vera touched his shoulder, "we all know that you tried your best. Don't beat yourself too hard, okay?"
