Chapter 11: Shotgun!

What Jin did was totally unexpected, but Nalan felt quite excited as well as happy.

She tried to hide it by holding her smile, which made her look quite cute before sighing: "Where did you even get this car? It looks like an old model I don't even know about."

"I guess I can only be patient about it." Nalan after uttering those words immediately entered the car excitedly.

The car was bought for 18,000 in a second-hand dealership to match Nalan's story.

It was actually being sold for 8,350 due to its old age but he just typed some numbers instead.

Also, he was wearing a brand new set of clothes, and Sebastian noticed it as well as the car, hence, Sebastian bought him some set from the thrift shop instead.

The reason why he's formally dressed and equipped with a car, yet, not looking rich, he looks like he's prepared to go to a job interview or something.

He has to say, Sebastian knows his stuff well.

As the both of them sat down, Nalan couldn't help but ask: "Where did you get this car and those clothes of yours?"

Jin smiled, the first time they met, he was merely wearing casual clothes, and, he didn't have a job, hence, the question.

"It was my old clothes, well, this car had always been mine." Jin replied.

Nalan glanced at him and asked once more: "Why did you have to ride a bus then?"

Jin chuckled: "It was being repaired before."

Nalan nodded hearing this reply, she looked at the car: "I guessed that was the case, after all, looking at this car, it would probably break in a month or two."

"I guess I'll get it repaired as soon as that happens."

"Un."

"Right, as soon as we arrive, you will immediately be disdained upon, so I hope that you're quite prepared, my parents aren't really the type to be lenient to the person I will introduce as my fiancee." Nalan warned, although it was quite a joke, but it sure as hell was the truth as well, it had always been.

Jin chuckled and nodded his head: "Well, I'll try to do my best to endure."

Nalan chuckled and slightly pushed his shoulders.

With that, the two of them headed to Nalan's house.

In just a few minutes, they arrived.

"Young Miss, you're back." Immediately, as soon as they arrived, they were immediately welcomed by Ruk.

Nalan was quite shocked, Ruk came to welcome them personally?

Looks like her father is quite prepared to remove Jin even without seeing the person himself.

Ruk scanned Jin from head to toe before looking at Nalan: "Young miss, your parents are waiting for the both of you."

As Ruk said those words, he immediately gave way to them.

"U-un!" Nalan was quite speechless.

Still, she immediately dragged Jin inside the house.

"Hey, I think they are fully prepared!" Nalan uttered in disbelief.

"What do you mean?" Jin asked.

"That person is my father's right-hand man! My dad is using his full force and that man, Ruk had probably reported your quality of clothes and vehicle to my father already!" Nalan couldn't help but shake her head, pausing for a bit, she added: "Well, I think my dad would really be mad at me if he knew what car you arrived in."

Jin chuckled: "Well, let's just do whatever we can then?"

"Y-yeah, but don't be too nervous and blurt out our plan, alright?" Nalan cautioned.

"I will keep that in mind," Jin replied as if he couldn't really do anything if something happened.

He'll just go with the flow.

After another minute, they arrived at the living room.

There, a middle-aged man and his wife are sitting, drinking their coffee.

Nalan immediately held Jin's hands "Father, Mother, this is Jin, my fiancee, and we'll be getting married soon."

As soon as they heard that, both of them looked at Jin from head to toe.

After a few seconds, they looked at each other and nodded.

"Sit." Nalan's Father ordered.

"Thank you." Jin smiled, nodded, and sat down.

Nalan immediately sat beside Jin and locked arms with him to make it more believable.

Nalan's Father, James Reid looked at Jin and asked: "You intend to marry my daughter?"

Jin nodded his head: "Yes, I do intend to marry her, will it be a problem?"

Nalan also spoke immediately: "Father, you can not force us to be apart!"

Hearing this, both of Nalan's parents smiled.

But to Nalan, it seemed like a death threat for Jin instead.

"here is a card, inside it is five million." James Reid placed it on the table in front of Jin.

Jin looked at it and was quite astonished.

Nalan was quite shocked, that amount of money just to make them separate?! This was the first time this had ever happened!

"And here's the marriage certificate, we had already decided the date, and today seemed quite an auspicious date for marriage." Nalan's mother, Nadine said.

"Father, no matter how much money it is, Jin and I will never-"

Nalan: "Huh?"

Jin: "?"

James: "?"

Nadine: "?"

It was awfully quiet at this time as everyone became speechless.

After a minute or two had passed, Nalan asked: "What do you mean by this, ...mother? ...father?"

"Hmm?" James pretended to be bewildered: "What do you mean? You're the one that wanted to be married, the best we can do is be supportive about it."

Hearing this, Nalan's beautiful red lips opened widely as she stared at her parents in disbelief.

"Wha-t-that! What are you guys being supportive about me going out with a boy!" Nalan asked in complete confusion, this truthfully was quite weird to her.

After all, this wasn't the first time she introduced someone to her family.

But... Yes, it was the first one she had brought someone home!

Nalan couldn't help but bite her lips suddenly, she didn't know how to respond.

Then, Jin took the marriage contract certificate, everything is actually favorable to the one that's being left.

So whoever initiated the divorce will not get anything from the other party.

Jin then signed it on the go and handed it to Nalan, which, was still in a frenzied state.

Nalan looked at it and then signed it with a blank expression on her face and handed it back to Jin, who handed it to Nadine.

The next thing they knew, they were already in the church.

For some reason, both Rin and Lin were present as well.

"Brother! I didn't know you had a lover, much less getting married!"

"Yes, me neither!"

The siblings were quite astounded at the events, but whoever cares?

So long as they're getting an elder sister added to their family, they really didn't care so long as this woman is not a bad one!

Jin chuckled at the two: "I mean, I'm shocked as well, so don't worry about it."

"So, it was a shotgun wedding?" Rin asked as she kept poking at Jin's sides.

"Yep." Jin couldn't help but chuckle.

Then, both of them looked at Nalan and smiled: "Sister-in-law, please take care of us!"

"Y-yes, please take care of me as well." Nalan could not help but be flustered.

How did everything even unfold into this?

"Here comes the bride and groom!"

At this, the curtains immediately opened, no one would even believe that all of it was prepared in a single day!

It was a wedding that cost five million!

There were 1,000 distinguished guests from around the city and neighboring cities as well.

Everyone were clapping nonstop as well as cheering for the bride and groom.

At this time, Nalan pinched Jin: "Y-you know, I need to tell you something..."

Jin looked at him and smiled: "What is it?"

Nalan: "A-actually... Actually I'm a lesbian..."

Jin: "..."

Lin and Rin: "...."

The two beauties that opened the curtains: "..."
