Chapter 8: Meeting The 4th. Nalan Reid.

"Rin, Lin, the both of you should stay here for now, also, I'll be selling off your company as well." Jin spoke as they were in the middle of eating their dinner.

Hearing this, both Rin and Lin felt quite confused.

"Brother, what's wrong? Did we do something bad?" Lin asked.

Jin smiled and shook his head: "No, I just need as much money as I can as I'm creating something that we seriously need."

Rin could not help but contemplate, she heard that her brother had sold his company already.

Just a few days ago, her brother had a lot of plans to expand his company and made quite a lot of money in the process as well.

To think that he had sold his company after so many months of painstaking efforts?

But still, it's their brother's money and they merely helped with increasing its value by quite a bit.

They didn't even hesitate to accept it, but they merely were just confused as to why their brother was doing such a thing.

"Well, whatever, it just means that we will have no more problems to deal with." Rin sighed and nodded her head.

Lin also nodded: "Well, it's our family's company, so I guess whatever you think we need should go without a doubt."

Jin smiled and nodded his head: "Well, thanks for trusting your brother."

Lin and Rin chuckled as they smiled at him: "Well, we would probably be working in a random place if it wasn't for you brother."

Jin smiled.

But at this time, they remembered something at the same time!

The three of them looked at Ruyan who was quite sullen as she stared on the ground.

Right, it's her only way of earning money! Her only family, her mother is relying on it!

Jin immediately thought of something and smiled: "Well, selling the company does not really mean that we're firing the employees."

"But since it was abrupt, we will be paying you a compensation of 30,000." Jin smiled, pausing for a bit, he added: "Well, we'd like to invite you and your mother as well for the thing that I was making, please take care of my sisters for me while I am gone."

Jin would rather suffer and walk than let his sisters do it.

It was already 9:00 PM and there were fewer and fewer available cabs, Jin couldn't even ride one.

At this time, a bus stopped in front of him.

He looked at the destination and immediately boarded.

Although he didn't have cash, the world is quite advanced already, hence, with his phone, he could probably pay for everything.

The bus was quite packed.

Jin looked and found a vacant seat, but beside it was quite a weird woman, her silky black hair definitely told him that she was taking care of it regularly, like one of those rich princesses of families. But she's wearing a hat, sunglasses, and a face mask.

"Hey, are you coming back from work?" The covered woman asked.

Jin couldn't help but look at her in confusion, her smell, she really smelled familiar to him, he even started doubting whether he had become a dog after he returned back from time.

She had no cologne or perfume, but her smell really felt familiar to him for some reason.

Usually, he would just ignore such questions, but out of his own curiosity, he couldn't help but reply: "No, I'm coming back from eating."

The lady nodded her head (so, he was job hunting and couldn't get a job and decided to just eat outside huh? -her thoughts), she smiled underneath her mask and asked again: "Do you have a job?" (Just in case you're just planning to hop to another job because you wanted to have a higher salary).

Jin couldn't help but smile as he shook his head: "No."

The lady nodded (So, it was the first one.).

She then looked at Jin from top to bottom and couldn't help but smile once more: "You know, you're really my type."

Jin couldn't help but be stunned for a bit before chuckling: "Really, that's quite weird."

She nodded once more: "What's your educational background?"

Jin: "I just finished high school and stopped there."

She nodded again: "Hmm, this is quite troublesome, my parents will have a hard time accepting this."

"Accepting what?" Jin asked.

She couldn't help but act cutely as she blurted out her inner thoughts instead of just thinking about it.

She couldn't help but chuckle: "Hey, how about being my husband?"

"I will support you and you can start your own business, how about it?"

"Well, as a bonus, I wouldn't care if you have another woman other than me." She added with a slight chuckle.

Jin couldn't help but be shocked, this girl in front of him was quite bold, daring actually.

It's like a free-spirited young woman, she's probably doing this to avoid arranged marriages from her family.

Then, at this time, that certain woman appeared in his memories.

It was her, his 4th lover, right?

Jin's stoic face suddenly brightened a bit as he stared at the girl with her jet-black hair.

He remembered her story, before everything happened, she was being forced by her family to marry a rich old tycoon and tie up their company, just when she was about to end everything, she witnessed the river freeze, like the god seemingly stopping her from doing it.

"Nalan." Jin couldn't help but utter.

Nalan Reid, the spirited woman who kept everyone's morale up! Also, excluding the captain of their survivor group, Nalan Reid was the strongest of them all!

She had died protecting Jin as they were escaping from the pursuit of 100 Razorback Pandas.

Just remembering how she held back those 100 monsters back then while letting him escape, made his heart pound once more.

Nalan was quite shocked, she glanced at Jin and couldn't help but ask: "How did you know me? Stalker? Are you my stalker?"

Jin woke up from his daze and chuckled: "Oh, your name is Nalan as well?"

"I had a friend that had black hair as beautiful as yours, remembering her, I was quite dazed."

"Oh... I thought you were my stalker, well, in your case, I guess I could call you my admirer?" Nalan joked about it, still, she kept complete vigilance against Jin, in case, you know about those bad people.

Jin couldn't help but smile: "Well, I'd be honored if you think about me like that."

Nalan could not help but chuckle: "Well, what do you think about my offer? Marry me and I'll give you a monthly allowance of 17,000, also, you can have a minimum of 3,000 spending money for clothes and other miscellaneous stuff. So, what do you think?"

Jin then looked at her and replied to her question: "Oh, that's quite an offer that's hard to reject."

"Right?" Nalan smiled cheerfully.

Jin nodded his head: "Right."

Jin couldn't help but be amazed at the coincidenses of life. To think in a single day, he had met two of his lovers from his previous life.

But after thinking about it, all the survivors from his group were from the same city, well, almost 95% of them are!
