His steps were solid as he walked gradually towards the school board, and he could already feel his heart beating hard against his chest as though it was going to burst through.
Soon, he got to the administrative building of the school, which was littered with a lot of cars. Sweat was already dripping down from the corner of his face.
But there was one thing that he could not place his head around, and that was how he was going to get to the principal since that was his very first time coming to the administrative block.
"I think that I should ask around." He spoke slowly to himself.
His eyes spammed through the building, and he caught up with a security officer at the far end of the line. Walking slowly towards him, he stared at him.
"And how may I help you?" His face twisted into a frown immediately after they landed on him, but he was not shaken even for a single moment.
"I need to see the owner of the school. I know they are having a meeting now, and it's with respect to that. Very crucial." He added it to show its importance.
The eyes of the security officer farrowed almost immediately, and after a few moments, he burst out into laughter.
"Is there a problem?" Christopher inquired.
After a few moments, there was a sudden pause as he continued to stare at him.
"And why do you want to see him? to make a complaint or something. Have you ever asked yourself if he would want to see you?" The guard inquired with a frown on his face.
"And what makes you think so?" Christopher responded, seeing where he was driving.
Just then, a car sped off into the building, and a man with the perfect set of suits and two bodyguards came down from the car.
He had an air of grace and walked as though the world was under his feet.
Whoever it was, even without anyone telling him, he could tell that he was there for the board meeting.
Getting closer to the man, he was struck by the really hard truth: it was the father of the man that Kelly had. The proud school slut now had silver as one of his assets.
He could already feel his anger rising so badly that he had to clutch his hands to control it.
And from what he knew about him, he was a member of the board.
Looking from right to left, he followed him closely from behind, making sure that he didn't make any sound to attract attention.
Finally, he got to the hall that was used for the meeting.
He could feel his heart racing fast.
"We will have to sell the school out. That's the only thing that we can do now. He for sure will be able to clear our debts accordingly." He could hear the old voice of the school owner echoing in the hall.
Without any form of hesitation, he pushed the door open almost immediately. He could feel his heart beating hard against his chest, as though it were going to burst through.
The attention of everyone in the hall turned around towards him as they shot laser glares at him.
"Who are you?" He could hear the voice of the proprietor from the far end of the building, but instead of anger, it was somewhat filled with compassion and confusion.
Christopher could feel a familiar aura in the hall, making him spin his head around slowly.
It was the security officer who had insulted him earlier, and this time he had a much more terrible frown on his face, as though he were ready to rip Christopher apart.
"You fool." He growled at him, gritting his teeth with so much anger.
"Do you know him?" Mr. Maxwell, the school owner, broke into a slight cough but stopped a few moments later.
From the lab clothes that he was putting on, he could already tell that he was a student from the school and a final-year student at that.
"Just one psycho that is meant to be at the entrance of the admin block, but I am going to get him out of the place right away, so you don't have to worry, sir." The guard assured her with a slight sigh.
Walking towards him, Christopher could already feel the vibration of his large step under his feet.
"You don't have to sell the company. I know someone who can invest in the school." He noted, but the guard only burst out into laughter, followed by everyone in the hall.
Heads rolled with laughter.
"Fool. I can see that you have been eavesdropping. And what do you think that you are?" The guard walked gradually towards him, but his stare was firmly placed right on Mr. Maxwell.
He could feel sweat gradually dripping down from the corner of his face, trying hard to fight with the decision.
"Wait.." Mr. Maxwell's voice stopped everyone in the hall.
"Wait. Don't tell me that you are going to listen to this punk, are you?" The eyes of the man who was standing before him farred.
"And I guess you still want your job." Maxwell fired lightly.
"At least let's hear him out first. It's not going to make anything worse than it already is." He affirmed.
Immediately, he spat out the words from his mouth, and the security guards had to let him go.
"So... how do we contact this person?" Mr. Maxwell inquired, staring right into his eyes.
"Contact? The person is right here already." He announced this while everyone in the hall gasped.
Once again, gossip rolled out in the hall while everyone stared around, wanting to see who this strange person who could help was.
"Can you tell them to come?" Mr. Maxwell inquired further.
"There would be no need for anyone coming in because I am the one who wants to strike a deal with the school." His announcement was firm.
At first, there was utmost silence in the hall, but after a short while, everyone in the room burst out into laughter, clutching hard to their stomachs to control their rocking laughter.
"Where did this psycho come from? I wonder when they started breaking out of the psychiatric hospital." He heard someone say, making his knuckles clutch hard with so much anger.
"Kid. Do you think that we are doing some sort of child's play here?" One of them frowned at him, but he was not moved, not even for a single moment.
"My investment recently paid off. I am ready to invest 100 million dollars in the school, but that would be on one condition." He burst out into laughter almost immediately.
"What's your condition? Turn the school into some science lab psycho." Everyone laughed.
The eyes of everyone in the room twisted with scorn as he said the words. There were whispers in the hall, but even with their hateful glares, he wasn't moved.Meanwhile, the man who wanted to go by the school could not help but laugh out loud at what he just heard."You what paid off?" He laughed."What do you think all of us are here for? Some child's place?" He thundered with mockery while everyone burst out into laughter. But there was someone who was not laughing even a bit. Mr. Maxwell. If there was anything that he didn't want to do, it was to sell the company over."Can I trust him?" The mechanism of his mind waged war in his head, and he could rarely speak. His decision was what Christopher waited for as sweat dropped from his face, dripping down to the floor. With a sudden flash, he waved his hands, and all the chatter died down.He stood up from his seat and walked toward Christopher, staring him right in the eyes, and finally, he spoke."And who are you?" He inquired."I'm
The hall was as silent as a graveyard as everyone waited for him to spit out the words from his mouth. "I'm sure he is going to ask for something really valuable." A man in the hall found his way to say. Immediately after he said those words, they all shot cold stares in his direction, making him freeze. "So tell me, Christopher. What is it that you want? We are all waiting." Mr. Maxwell said it with a smile on his face. He could already feel his heart beating hard against his chest as he opened his mouth to speak. "Lately, there have been cases about a particular employee of the school taking pride in treating rich students well while the other students are treated with so much scorn." He replied. Mr. Maxwell's face blew hot red with so much fury as he sprang up from his seat, hitting his hands hard on the table. "Who is this person?" He inquired, his teeth grating with anger. If there was anything that he hated so much, it was the act of bullying coupled with the act of brib
The students were drowning in their gossip and could not believe what they just heard."How is it even possible that Christopher is a VIP student?""Everyone on campus knows him. He can't even afford three square meals." Their words were loud enough for Christopher to hear but none of that mattered to him.Everyone had the right to believe what they wanted to believe. All he wanted now was to have his revenge and fulfill the task that he had been given to do.Moving closer towards Mrs. Idris, he shot a glance at her as it gradually moved back to the students."And as much as I can observe. That is very much true. What do you have to say about it?" He inquired, waiting for a response.Thoughts ran through her mind knowing too well that she was in a really difficult situation. Her hands were clenched with so much anger. "Christopher. I am going to make sure you pay for it." She growled under her breath. Her anger was soon replaced with a forced smile as she turned towards Mr. Maxwell"
Turning around towards the crowd, there was a swift silence in the place as everyone was eager for him to spill the tea."Christopher here lied to all of you, and I believe everyone deserves to know the truth." He began. There was a sudden uproar in the theater, polluting the hall environment with the noise that came from them."I knew it right from the beginning. I certainly did not fall for all those lies.""I can't believe this. He dared to lie, using the kindness of the school owner."Wow. I didn't realize that apart from being a broke ass, he was also a good liar." Another voice streamed into Christopher's hearing, but he kept his cool, sipping in a really deep breath."And what's your reason for this accusation?" He inquired with his eyes farrowed.Kelly burst out into laughter, turning around towards the crowd of students."He is pretending as though he knows nothing about what I am talking about." He said."Now for your information. My dad just bought the school from the owner
While he remained outside, his phone made a beeping sound, and he paired through it to see what message he had gotten."Huh?" An exclamation followed suit immediately after he saw the message."Dear customer, you have been entitled to own a platinum card as our biggest client, and you are already available. Come to the bank, and you will get it." The message read."What do I need a card for?" He thought for a while, but after giving it some thought, he noticed that he could not always use his phone for transactions."I think this is going to be the best option." He said to himself,.With a swift dash, he turned around, wanting to leave the campus environment, when he bumped into someone. His heart shot faster as he paired up to see who it was, with an apology already on his lips."I am sorry." He was already apologizing when he paused suddenly. The lines around his head region farrowed as he rose swiftly from the floor."Why does it always have to be you?" He muttered under his breath
Everyone was baffled by his sudden audacity as he made his way swiftly out of the hall, knowing that he didn't have much time before the close of the bank. "That fool." He could already pick out Kelly's voice, fuming with fury from behind. "That fool. I am going to make sure that you regret every single decision that you have made today, and until you are out of this city with your face washed with shame and disgrace, I will not rest." He could hear his voice from behind. But it only made Christopher's face glow with a smile without pausing. "Then get ready to know there is no rest in that case." He muttered under his breath. With an expression of wealth under his sole control, he walked swiftly towards the street. Bringing his cell phone out of his pocket, he placed a call to get an Uber while he sat on a single beach on the street. Not like anyone would want to sit on it if I were multi. Everyone avoided him like a stink right from the pit of hell. He sighed deeply, reflecting his i
Her face twisted into a frown as she continued to stare right into his eyes, stunned at the words that she just heard. The anger of the banker soon boiled over as she thundered the words at him almost immediately."And who do you think you are?" She thundered at him, not giving him enough breathing space to spit out a single word from his mouth. Her eyes shot a quick stare at him from his head to his toe, taking a hint at every single dress that he was putting on."Do you think that you can get a platinum card with this five-dollar or road trash pick-out cloth that you are putting on right now?" Her glares deepened even more, and his heart raced even faster."We were just talking about the few pennies that you had in your account, and what now? You are telling me that you want a platinum card?" She continues to glare at him."I wonder if today is going to get any worse." She replied.Even though her words were harsh and enough to make anyone angry, he was able to keep his strange calm
The eyes of Mrs. Andrea, the manager, blazed with anger as the young man, standing beside her, quickly pulled away from the place. Christopher could already see the embarrassment that was written all over her face as she tried to hide it. But the man that was standing right beside her seemed so shameless, blowing a kiss in her direction as he continued to set his clothes. "See you later, Mrs. Andrea." There was a strange smirk on his face as he made his way out of the hall. Walking past Christopher, he shot a cold stare at him before finally making his way out of the hall. After he left the hall, Christopher was left only with the manager, and as her gaze moved gradually towards her direction, her emotions flung up into anger. As though everything that was in her was directed towards him, she stiffened with so much hate and anger. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Her voice thundered in his direction like a sleek dagger. He was about to muster words, but then she wave
