Dao Origin Body..

In an unknown realm

A gigantic mountain stood in the air, free from the bounds of the ground.

It floated above a vast expanse of land and numerous kingdoms and empires lay underneath it.

Snow white clouds surrounded the mountain and a transcendent aura emanated from it.

Outside the mountain, a flock of huge white birds rode the snowy clouds and a majestic plumage of blue feathers was on their necks.

Their inky black beaks and legs made a contrasting difference with the white clouds and they raised their necks proudly as they flew with an unmistakable air of majesty.

Inside the mountain, people flew in and out of the mountain unfettered to the earth.

They shuttled from one location to another, dressed in glamorous robes of colors that made them look ethereal and indifferent.

A tall palace stood right at the summit of the mountain and coloured gems and glittering metals adorned it.

An immortal palace!

In the uppermost room of the palace that overlooked the mountain stood an elegant young man.

He was clad in long white robes and his hair was clipped at the back of his head.

He looked down at the mountain and asked softly.

"It has been peaceful lately, hasn't it?".

"Yes, Sect master, it has been peaceful lately".

A voice answered from the dark shadows of the room.

The white-robed man sighed and looked at the horizon with a piercing gaze.

"It would all come down to chaos should he be allowed to awaken".

"Who would that be? For you to have him in mind and even act so seriously". The voice asked.

The Sect master replied.

" It's a story you know well. Though by now, it would come off as an elaborate and unfounded legend".

"It was an error of the universe. It had been created by mistake and eventually grew to be its favorite creation".

"The Dao-origin body! "

" It became the ultimate talent that was ever to exist since the beginning of this universe. Even I who have seen different kinds of geniuses had to admit it was the best talent from all the universes known".

"Maybe, the best talent ever to be seen".

The voice in the shadows became puzzled.

"If it was such a monstrous genius why would it be the beginning of chaos should he awaken?".

The white-robed man walked to an exquisite stool that was in front of the window and sat on it. He looked into the shadows and asked.

"You should know about Kores Adori, his story?".

A dark figure walked out of the shadows, but its features were still mostly hidden.

" Why? Is it not that clown that wanted to stir up some trouble with meager strength and got suppressed easily?".

" He's just a defeated dog. What's there to know about him?".

The white-robed man smiled.

"That's where you are wrong, Dale". He said.

"Kores Adori was fortunate enough to be born with the Dao origin body and he was a terrifying genius then".

" He broke through the levels of cultivation like it was child's play. To him cultivating and having breakthroughs were just as easy as breathing ".

"It should have been a thing of celebration to have that kind of genius in this universe, but he was unfortunate to be born in the region of the dark coalition".

" His morals and ethics were not orthodox. But if that were all, he would have been nothing to fear".

" When those old bastards at the coalition of darkness found out his monstrous talent, the first thing they tried to do was, take over his body and obtain the talent for themselves ".

" But the Dao origin body is not so easy to obtain".

"The attempt to take over his body backfired and the divine soul of the one who had wanted to take over his body was consumed by Kores. When the old bastards found out they couldn't take over his body and also couldn't control him, they decided to nip the threat in the bud".

"Unfortunately for them, Kores managed to escape and he swore revenge on them. That was when we all found out the most terrifying thing about the Dao-origin body."

"When Kores was at the darkness coalition, they only taught him how to cultivate through the levels and never really taught him any techniques or taught him to comprehend laws".

" When he escaped, we found out that the Dao origin body could comprehend any martial art or law almost at first glance".

"The only reason he didn't become unrivaled immediately was that to cultivate through the levels required energy and even though to take in the natural energy of the universe was easy for him, to break through to higher levels it needs accumulation or refinement of natural energy sources to breakthrough".

"So, throughout the beginning of his revenge, he depended on his perfect comprehension of laws and martial arts to be able to threaten experts. But that was not enough to kill them and talk less of causing chaos in the universe, so he decided to try to refine the energy sources of worlds over time and eventually get strong enough to destroy the darkness coalition".

"We that are at the opposite side of the darkness coalition even helped him at some points, since his goal was the generally desired goal of destroying the darkness coalition".

" One day, he tried refining the energy source of a barren world, and we thought it would take him like a thousand years to be able to refine the energy of a whole world".

"But how wrong we were at that time!".

"That day was when we discovered the horrible truth of the Dao-origin body.".

" When he entered the energy source and started to refine it, we found out in shock that he did not need to refine the energy at all as the owner of the Dao origin body".

The energy source of the barren world all entered his core of energy and settled there like it was his from the beginning".

"After that day Kores disappeared and the age of chaos began".

"As once a member of the Dark Coalition, he had no strong morals. And while consumed in his extreme desire for revenge, he lost his mind".

"He went round the universe consuming the energy of different worlds, not caring at all whether it was inhabited or not".

" Countless living creatures lost their lives at his hands that period, and at that cost, he grew so strong to the point that it took all the experts of the universe to kill him."

" Every single one of us".

The white-robed man wrapped his hands around his body and shivered.

"Just thinking about that period makes me feel the chills".

Dale's by now had his dark mouth agape. The shock and horror were apparent on his face.

The white-robed man stood up and took a rectangular jade from a table in the corner.

He mustered up a stream of energy and sent it into the jade.

After which, he went back to the window, looked outside, and said

" It seems those old men from the darkness coalition have forgotten what happened ten million years ago ".

"They have forgotten the horrors of the Dao origin body, the chaos it caused, and the harrowing times it brought upon this universe".

"They are trying to awaken and enslave a remnant will in Kores Adori's dead body!".

" Wait, why was the dead body of that fiend not destroyed to prevent this from happening? ". Dale asked curiously.

The faction master looked handsome and elegant, so when he stood straight by the window with the light from the setting sun resting on him, he looked just like someone from an ancient painting.

With cold eyes and an indifferent face, he spoke calmly.

"Dales, listen to my teachings. A soul is fundamentally different from the body in which it resides".

"When the body dies the soul does not die but goes through reincarnation and eventually be born into a new body".

" A soul is immortal and cannot be destroyed. Once a soul reincarnates it is considered dead because all its memories of its previous life are gone and in its next life cannot be considered to be the same person, because everyone has different encounters and experiences in this life that shape who we are. You should know all this ".

"The Dao-origin body is the one favored by the universe. Not the soul which had reincarnated into it. Once Kores's soul had left his body and was taken to reincarnation, the Dao origin body became invulnerable".

The faction master went to the terrace of the palace and stepped off it. His feet stood on the empty air.

"Since the dark coalition has forgotten about the age of chaos".

He waved his sleeve and a dark rift tore the space apart. He stepped through it and disappeared.

"They do not need to exist anymore!".
