III. That shadow

Ishikawa Kioshi's POV

I just stared at the face of the shadow figure. I didn't notice Hans and Nao because my full attention was just focused there on the shadow figure. Just a few minutes later, the whole area suddenly became dark at the same time as I stood up. I was just surprised when it got dark around me. I didn't feel scared because I had been through this, just surprised because I wasn't asleep or unconscious.

I looked around to see something other than darkness. In my observation of my surroundings, I saw a light from afar. I started walking over there, into that light that I just now saw here. As I approached, that light became more and more enlightening. In the extreme light I was even dazzled by it, I walked towards it andI tried to get close until I could get in there.

As I enter the light it gradually changes, as if the surroundings are clearing and I can see the whole surroundings. It is no longer just darkness or light. I just continued my walk at the same time, gradua
