Rashen felt paralyzed. The Chairman was dead, his body strapped to a chair in a dark room and he had no clue what to do, he felt completely helpless. The Chairman’s room was quite large, quite modern for Grittshore standards. A large chandelier hung from the ceiling, a shelf that held books, honors and what seemed to be artifacts worth small fortunes. Rashen walked through the doors of the headquarters,but he only found Macy and Gayle once he entered the dining room.He looked more exhausted than he felt. He didn't want to wake Cindrus up so he waited for her to wake up instead, unfortunately for him that took almost all morning. Once she did wake up he still had to wait for her to get ready. Despite her initial refusal and reluctance, the increasingly heavy downpour of rain changed her mind to the idea of sleeping at a motel with Rashen for the night.They were lucky enough to find one that happened to have been close enough to the restaurant. Rashen had to spend the remainder of his salary just to afford the night but he had no choice. It was a quiet walk up the creaky stairs to their room. It wasn't particularly big for the amount of money he paid but it would have to do for the night. It was a wooden floor with a single chair and a bed close to the window with slightly opened curtains. "Why do I have to share a room with you again?"
